Lower turnout was always said to help the Republicans in my experience.

I’ve seen Obama win twice in the last two elections with extremely long lines at my polling place never equaled at other elections.

The two Democrats I know best, my father and my wife, are not Hillary supporters at all. My father is Trump and my wife is Bernie. People like that will play a role next fall.

They have both voted for Republicans in the past for president.

I think it’s a “cohort” thing.

Those in my cohort will all be voting — against Hillary. Whatever that means.

Your mileage may vary.

And there will be strongly D cohorts that will experience less enthusiasm to vote for Hillary than they had in 2008 and 2012 to vote for the halfrican.

Personally, I think that the momentum and enthusiasm shift from D (less enthusiasm) to R (more enthusiasm) will be a huge outcome driver in 2016.

Just my 2c.

Interesting. So let’s say Bernie is out - he probably will be. What does your wife do?

A) Stay home
B) Vote Trump
C) Vote Hillary

Yes. Of course Hillary faces the same lack of enthusiasm.

I love what Trump sez. I wouldn’t want him to be president. I’ve felt that way pretty much since day 1.

I will not vote for Trump if he’s the nominee. However, I believe in the end people will not allow the media to choose our candidate again and will vote for Cruz.

People who don’t like TRUMP, or won’t for him... lead their lives with ‘horse blinders’ on. Period!

No, I go and vote for state rep, state senator, vote down tax increases, etc. If there’s a conservative on the ballot for president in Kansas, I’ll vote for him/her. Voting lesser-of-two-evils is the stupidest thing conservatives have done. It’s why we don’t have a party that represents us.

Take a bow, you and every one who sits at home this time around, are the ones who gave us Obama. Hope you enjoy WWIII that’s looming all over the world. This time around, our enemies will be knocking on your doors as this Administration and this Congress have allowed them to be here already. And, you can be proud of yourselves that you gave our warriors another POS for CIC.

I like what he’s done more than what he says and I can’t wait for him to be President.

He’s like the ‘crazy uncle’ at Thanksgiving dinner. Nobody has anything good to say about him, but secretly they agree with him on most things.

I get that impression, too. The Rand supporters seem to be the worst. Some seem to think Rand is going to pull off a win no matter what the polls or anyone else says. I have learned to ignore their posts on FB.

In 9 months time a lot can, and will happen before the elections. Closer in, a lot can happen before/ during the GOP Convention in July.

I predict a wild ride.

Lesser evil voting gave us Obama. Period. The lesser evils we elected did nothing to oppose him and Romney was and remains a guy that profits from BBQing the dead, dismembered remains of children his own laws helped create.

If you think that such a man belongs in the presidency, you are as sick as he is.
