My brother lives in Encino. All the property is being bought by the Saudis, not the Chinese. And they’re ripping down all the beautiful ranch houses and building their usual hideous McMansions.

The climate may be too cold/cool and moist for middle Eastern Saudis.

When the Shah was disposed, many Persians fled to the bay area and opened up small businesses. Some are still open and some are being run/managed by their adult children and grandkids. They and their off spring are good people and citizens and hate the Islamic thugs in charge of Iran, now.

I find it interesting that they rather be called as Persians, rather than as Iranians.

One of my gifts, often is an ability to identify accents and facial features of people, we meet and link them to certain geographic areas of the world.

When the bells ring and it appear that the new person/people we are meeting is a Persian.

Then, I ask them up front if their are Persian. They usually pause, then smile and say yes. They are often highly educated and motivated people. They would handle the Islamic Threat different than we are handling it now.
