That's really weird. Don't you think that's weird?

What's weird is you didn't provide a link to this person who allegedly knows me personally. I'd like to see it too.

I’d prefer not to give them the free press by publishing the link.

Which one would that be? I’ll bet you ‘can’t say’. Or maybe that old standby, ‘can’t remember’.

OR you are just a liar and don't want to post the link so we can verify that there is someone out there on a "left wing" website that personally knows me? Why not just send it to me in a Private Message? I'll post it myself on the forum then and you can blame it on me.

Needs to be on a 24/7 loop, in my humble opinion.

This is what finished Cruz, among those who were paying attention.

ALL FReepers were in freak mode over the Mississippi Treatment against Chris Daniels by the Establishment.

It is TWO years before we find out about Cruz’ hand in it with a $200,000.00 contribution to the dirty tricks operation NRSC that funded the Daniels take down.

Cruz lent no vocal support, financial support nor moral support to any conservative, because he was serving on the NRSC Establishment operation himself and bound to silence and to funding their “job” against conservatives.

Yeah, I heard Ted was “fixing” his mistake by filing now, after he got caught.

Are you serious? McDaniel can’t possibly have known, or else he had to have received damages and promises from Cruz for a future, in order to redeem himself with Chris.

This is a scandal, but Cruz has the GS money to buy back those he has jacked around.

Good catch. This needs to be front and center: excellent conservative candidate McDaniel BEAT the Washington insider who'd been there for 100 years, but via election fraud and dirty tricks (kinda like Beck's fake tweek on behalf of Cruz) McDaniel was "defeated."

THIS is what people supposedly elected Cruz for---to stop stuff like this by the Washington Cartel and the GOPe. His stand could have made a difference. And we'd have one more conservative senator.

FWIW, McDaniel chairing Cruz's campaign does not prove that Cruz didn't know about the funding situation and yet not reveal it at the time.

It certainly suggests that McDaniel thinks Cruz did nothing wrong.

Cruz was the minority leader here.
He couldn’t stop it if he tried.
He left this committee over the very practices you are now trying to blame him for now.
A little research goes along way.

He doesn't have to stop it. He just had to open his fat mouth and say, "hey, all those racist anti-Daniels ads? They're funded by Republicans."

Cruz didn't, but just stayed nice and quiet.

This is over the top outrageous.

At the time, ALL these fine Cruzbots were scratching their head, wondering “where is Ted” on all these critical races.
Crickets.

Until *after* the fact. Then it was the Cornyn strategy, and there was Cruz saying what happened in Mississippi was deplorable.

Gack! What a load of “look over there” and “never mind where I was”, or “never mind where my quarter of a million dollars went, during that cycle”.

Who should care, right?

Right. McDaniel is too stupid to realize who was for him and who was against him. The fact that McDaniel is his MS chair refutes the stupid of premise of this article. I want Cruz or Trump to win, but I'm not going to lie and obfuscate in an attempt to promote one over the other. You should at least make an attempt to do the same.

Add to that in 2013, Cruz, along with Paul, helped the Senate Conservative Fund raise money to defeat incumbents.

In 2014 he and Paul were talked into "getting along" with the establishment, which is something Trump would be proud of, so he stopped his SCF fund raising.

And as you said, in July of 2014 the GOPe took away Cruz's co chair on the NSRC. He then resigned.

That certainly doesn't suggest that he was happy with the NSRC.

As Lee Corso says, “Not so fast, my friend”. What you and other have been posting is false

This is Cruz from February 2014, and may explain to you all why McDaniels likes him:

“Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz is criticizing the National Republican Senatorial Committee, of which he serves as vice chair, saying he disagrees with their decision to support incumbents in primaries.

The NRSC is backing incumbent Republican Senators who are facing primary challenges in the 2014 cycle, like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts and Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran. Those primary challenges are being backed by the Senate Conservative Fund and the Madison Project, groups for whom Cruz has, in the past, raised money.

At a Playbook Breakfast with Politico’s Mike Allen on Thursday, Cruz was asked if he regretted taking the position of NRSC vice chair. He declined to say if he regretted it, but said he was not on board with the NRSC’s decision to back incumbents.

“When I took on the role, leadership told me that they had learned the lesson from 2010 to stay out of primaries. Look, if you look at the NRSC’S history in primaries, it’s terrible. The NRSC endorsed Charlie Crist … and blackballed any consultant who worked with this young upstart named Marco Rubio. I think Washington insiders have a terrible record at picking winners and losers,” Cruz said.

On Wednesday, Politico reported that Cruz’s name was signed on a fundraising appeal made by the Madison Project, even through Cruz had previously said he would remove his image and signature from fundraising materials for groups targeting incumbents.

Cruz said he had signed the letter last April and did not know the group had planned to resend it, but would not say definitively that he would no longer help groups targeting incumbents.

“I have made no such ironclad promise. What I have said is that I’m likely going to stay out of incumbent Republican primaries,” Cruz said, but added: “I haven’t put that in concrete.”

Asked why, he said only: “Because things can change in politics.”

Asked for comment, NRSC communications director Brad Dayspring replied: “Senator Cruz is one of forty-five Senators that we are proud to support, defend, and build a majority for. We look forward to Senator Cruz being able to fight big government and the spread of liberalism in a conservative Republican Majority next year.”

Are you saying that either the donations to the disgusting primary campaign did not occur or that they did occur and Cruz didn’t know about them?
