His main focus is to get someone in office who can change status quo.

Please. Do you really think he would be doing the same for McConnell if he was running for president. You guys need to stop twisting yourselves into pretzels trying to denigrate the conservative bonafides of Cruz.

Right. He always is pure as the wind driven snow, until which time his calculations misfire and become exposed.

Of course, he left *after* the deed was done. But he was certainly in the saddle *during* the deployment of the deed, and on his dime, to the tune of $200,000.00.

This is not okay, people. You’re getting the business. Again.

I do think that’s weird. And it makes sense. GPH doesn’t have the temperament of normal FReepers. I suspect he’s been banned a few times, and spends some of his time at anti-Freeper blogs and some of his time here.

s Lee Corso says, “Not so fast, my friend”. What you and other have been posting is false

Notice nothing in the article redeems Ted Cruz. Cruz talks the talk, even tries to have it both ways, but ultimately did nothing.

Leaving the committee would not be enough As a principled conservative, Cruz would’ve had an obligation to reveal such donations. If not, he has been compromised.

Okay, have it your way, he did nothing, but yet you are accusing him of SOMETHING?

Agreed. The posting history is nothing but cursing and insult-flinging. Anyone who’s spent any time debating liberals knows what they sound like.

Are the donations hidden from someone?
You know about them, so I would say not.

McDaniel can’t possibly have known, or else he had to have received damages and promises from Cruz for a future, in order to redeem himself with Chris.

Yup, he's obviously not well enough connected and is probably too stupid to have the information necessary to make the right decision. Good thing FReepers are there to make things clear to him. My eyes have to be lying because Cruz screwed McDaniel in the primary...it's so obvious right? Just read the article....they made friendly because Cruz promised him a position of power if he wins, MS being all that important.

Good grief, the crap some people will talk themselves into. Now I see where we're supposed to oppose Cruz because of Goldman Sachs. Do conservatives hate bankers now? Maybe you should put out a handbook to keep us straight on these things.

Our knowledge of the smear campaign getting donations from that committee when Cruz was co-chair have just been revealed. The argument isn’t that Cruz did anything illegal. The arguments are that as a principled conservative it wasn’t enough to quit the committee, he had a moral obligation to reveal this outrage.

Reveal?

It was the NSRC's stated policy to fund incumbents.

What else should he have revealed?

You don’t have any idea what really happened but you don’t have the sense to admit it. The fact that McDaniel agreed to chair Ted’s MS campaign would tell a rational and logical person that this article makes it appear much worse than it was. But I’m sure McDaniel would gladly serve as McConnell’s MS chair if he were running for president.

No, McDaniel wouldn’t do the same for McConnell or any RINO. But he says he’ll vote for Cruz or Trump, the anti-establishment.

It isn’t where the money came from, but the effort to hide where it came from.

In Texas, it was told to us that Cruz was all but hocking the kids milk money in order to fight off establishment Dewhurst. No mention of the easy access loan from Goldman, that was then revealed along with a 650,000.00 donation from a GS player. Heck, that “contribution” paid off half the GS loan for Ted, right there.

Now, we see GS financial connections to his presidential campaign only because of a failure to file, with the FEC.

Who does that, when you’re the smartest guy in the room? I mean, other than the smartest girl in the room, Hillary?

Come on. 2 + 2 stuff, here.

Never mind the “I was for TPA until I was against it, and against TPP, which I guaranteed to pass because I was for TPA”, and, then, “look over there”, “it was McConnell’s fault”.

Nevermind, “I didn’t know I was Canadian”.

You’re getting the business and, by now, you have to know it and choose it.

You can sell $500,000 in stock or borrow $500,000 with your stock as collateral, how are those options materially different?

Todd, only what was different was the conveniently “inadvertent” failure to file the loan money and source, TWICE, but mostly it was the $650,000.00 political contribution by the GS officer, which in turn, canceled out half the notes value.

Hocking your stock and selling your stock are equivalent. Thanks.

Me too. I'd vote for a barnyard animal if it will keep that witch out of the White House.
