Just asked Mama and as far as She knows Post Season.
All 26 races? Isn’t it 36 races?
The last 10 are the “chase”
Stewart has to get enough points in the first 26 to participate in the chase.
Thanks
for the correct pick the answer is...
Anybody but 6whine.
Thank You
This answer is based on NUTSCAR NOT changing the Rules in the middle if the Season or Race.
Naww!!! they would never do that...
The last 10 are the âchaseâ
Of course! I feel dumb. 90 days away from racing has wiped my memory.
It’s all good.
They’ve cut back to 40 car field for Cup also.
36 guaranteed spots.
The is good. It puts about $175,000 in payments for the last three in the average race back into the rest of the field. Those last three should never have been in the race in the first place.
And that leads Me to ask what does the FR NASCAR Brain trust have to Opine on the New “Franchise” System including the reduction of the Starting Lineup from 43 to 40?
I’m not so sure I like it. The 1st thing I see is NUTSCAR grubbing for more $$$ going into NUTSCAR’S Pocket.
And again they are trying to turn NASCAR into the NFL
Well auto racing is in a tough spot.
Younger folks aren’t buying in.
Tracks are pulling out seats by the 10s of thousands.
Richmond from 110,000 to 60,000 for example.
Michigan and Talladega down 45% capacity and not selling out.
So it’s a scramble to provide “value” for the teams, or so they say.
(((PING)))
Did not realize ARCA is using a 396 cube spec engine built by Ilmor based on the GM LS series.

Well I was expecting it to be post season 2015!
Bristol sounds like a good idea. Different type of track than Atlanta, and I live in TN. There's a party bus/shuttle that runs from Gatlinburg to Bristol for the race, so sounds like a vacation to me!
And yes, please add me to the ping list. The past few years I've been slacking on my racing; I need to get back in the groove. ;)
Darlington is a fun race to watch.
Sprint Unlimited Race on now, Saturday 9:00 EST on FOX.
Did you fall overboard or were you pushed?
