I attended my first Nascar race 60 years ago this year.I was working in the parts department of the Chevrolet garage and this privateer out of Oregon stopped by for sponsorship money and a pit crew. Racers and fans need to get after their congress critters about the EPA’s new regulation they slipped into a larger batch of regulations. Any emission controlled car or engine cannot have their emission controls removed even if the vehicle or engin is only used off road. This is a bit of a paraphrase but close enough. SEMA has a petition going. If one likes freedom and motor sports one needs to sign it and get the damn rogue EPA back under the control of congress.

Ya-hoooo! Finally time for racing!! If it doesn't have four tires and a steering wheel, I don't pay attention.

I've been to Atlanta race track a couple of times, but thinking about checking out another track. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not a party person; I go to watch the race!
