I'm beginning to think that if Trump is the nominee, there is a good chance that he may pick Rubio as his running mate. Naturally, this is just a guess on my part but I have two reasons to speculate on this:
1. While Trump liberally criticizes Cruz, Kasich and Bush, I rarely hear him lambast Rubio. And, conversely, I don't recall Rubio going after Trump. At least not nearly as much as he does some of the other candidates.
2. The Trump campaign team thinking may be that having Rubio on the ticket would draw in more Hispanic votes which could negate the effect of Trump's strong stance on border security and "The Wall".
Any comments welcome.
I don’t think it matters. The Republican brand has been taken down so far with these debates, the Democrats could nominate Joe Stalin and win in a walk come November.
And why is that? Because he's Hispanic? Trump is drawing more Hispanic support than Rubio is.
Is it because he's the Senator from Florida? Trump out polls him by a mile in his home state. Trump will take Florida without his help.
So what exactly does Rubio bring to the ticket that makes him the make-break addition to win the general?
Makes sense
D. Trump/Robot Rubio makes no sense. One of the criticisms of Trump has been that he lacks political experience. The last thing he needs is somebody who is nothing but an empty suit.
Trump won’t have a politician as a VP. A General maybe, or a business leader.
Give him 2 days and he'll be quite sincere about the exact opposite. Trump is good at appearing quite sincere.
