quick change brakes would definitely spice things up
Just saw an article that two Talladega locals were found dead before the race last weekend. But then, reading comments, seems that might not be an unusual occurrence...

So the wreck the other day...did Danicka Patrick ram into that other car on purpose?
Looked like she gave the wheel a hard yank to the left.
She was texting Stenhouse
I think the cat ate my last post.
Dover’s coming up and I/we like that track. One of the very few on the East Coast we’ve been to. I realize the south is the home of NASCAR but to have only 4 tracks (Phoenix, Las Vegas, L.A. & Sonoma) in the western U.S. needs to be re-thought. New tracks (in the west) couldn’t do any worse in attendance totals then the last few weeks races.
Watching the Cup Practice. Truex had the bolt that holds the Wheel Spacer and Hub Hat break and get caught between the rim and hub making it feel like a loose wheel.
Danica broke the Rear Gear, spun out on fire, Tony lost it in the gear lube She put down on exit of Turn 4 in Practice 1. All this over the 1st 3-4 Laps.
Missed it all, trying to get some yard work done before the rains hit. Qualifying rained out?
can only post link since it’s gannett

Big Crash with 50 to go - Master fuster cluck
Wowie what a mess that was. Thanks Jimmy; took out my A & one of my B drivers in that wreck. Still was one of the best races I’ve watched. The dueling for the lead that last 59 laps was beautiful. Larson tried soooo hard. Lost a spot in the league but it was worth it to watch a race like that. I’ll look at all the league scores tomorrow. Stands didn’t appear to be half full (again).
Hey, it’s 29 degrees here this morning. How’s your crabs??

Hmmm, rain cancelled everything for Friday.
Did you know that today is Armed Forces Day??
Something has to be done about Darrel Waltrip.
He ruined the qualifying races this morning, which were otherwise fantastic races.
It is almost like he is drunk, but of course he is not. He interrupts everyone, I thought Joy was going to tell him to shut up at one point. Instead Joy just shouted him down. He talks over Gordon every time Gordon talks, and Gordon is doing a great job, I think. He squeels and cries and spends an enormous amount of time saying nothing.
I just don’t think I can take it anymore.
Is there a website dedicated to complaining about him? I want to join up.
I agree. Jeff is doing a surprisingly good job; D.W. Is way to full of himself and thinks he’s “cock of the walk”. He rambles on and on w/o saying anything meaningful. Get Andy Petree in there to replace Waltrip and it’d be a dream team.
How many qualifying events have been rained out this year??? and yes the Wladrip brothers are full of them selves...
Whoa. Talk about a fustercluck. Tony & Matt said it best. I couldn’t follow that scoring for the life of me. Strange rules and a comedy of errors. Boy o boy o boy.
Ol’ DW did better last night. I bet a producer sat him down and went over the rules of conduct with him.
I like Petree and miss him.
But the answer for Fox is to put DW in the H Hotel with Myers, put McRenyolds back in the booth with Joy and Jeff and put Michael W out in the infield and the stands to do human interest pieces for the cautions.
That’d work. Probably very well.
