picked Gord up from daycare, missed the Kasich flap will have to look for it. I DID hear that CRuz fired the offending staffer but yet managed to turn the entire incident against rubio. he is just NASTY. do. not. like. again, his politics are fine with me, his personal manner just makes me dislike him intensely.

I like his policy. I do NOT like the person. I like him a lot less now than when the campaigns started.

LOL! Phew.

Man I hate getting into religious battles with people, and I especially hate when people use their religiousness to be dicks. I’m not religious, but I can be spiritual. I don’t follow the teachings of any specific church. Then again, I don’t preach or tell people they are evil because I don’t share their beleifs, and I hate when people do that to me.

I like his politics, but his personal manner is like the few lawyers I’ve known who are/were prosecutors-pugnacious, in-your-face offensive and downright vulgar and insulting sometimes-pretty outrageous, but very good at what they do. It doesn’t seem to matter what their political beliefs are-in their manner they are alike-so I ignore what seem to be generic traits and look at their political leanings.

Rubio seems too nice for a courtroom lawyer to me-definitely not a badass-if I had the $$$ to hire him or Cruz, I’d hire Cruz even if I did not care for him personally. Just my take on it...

I don’t like GS cookies, I refuse to pay the ridiculous price for Starbucks-even their bagged, ground stuff at the grocery store-and I like the Colombian coffee I buy and brew here at home-I guess that makes me an unintentional boycotter...

i have to head to traffic court now for a ticket i got. The cop urged me to show, saying my record was otherwise clean,

Doesn't that make you miss the good old days when your tank tops always ensured that you never got tickets.

It is 71 and it has been gloomy and threatening rain-already predicted-since I left work-now more dark clouds are blowing in. I was going to grill some ribs, but the way it is looking, I’ve decided on salad for dinner again-I’ve got plenty of greens, raw veggies and a package of that mashed fish made to look like crabmeat fake stuff in the fridge-I’ll make some oil and vinegar dressing, and call it dinner...

It sounds sensible to me-I heard the island is a wildlife preserve anyway. Besides, if there aren’t enough prey animals like rabbits mice and other rodents, lizards and such-to support a population of those rattlers to breed in bigger numbers, the population will either remain small or decline completely in time anyway-it isn’t as if they eat people, like bears do..

My husband intends to be the President of the Republic of Texas when we split from the commie bastards turning our country into a socialist nightmare...

If part of his campaign platform involves relocating the capital of the Republic of Texas away from the leftist hellhole that is Austin (preferably to the north), then he has my vote.

Like Jefferson, I believe that when it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, ... common courtesy requires that they should declare the causes for such separation. As such, I volunteer for the committee to update the Declaration of Independence for the Republic of Texas. The finished product will do TJ proud and will be much less a plagiarism than a typical Biden speech.

Of course he would move the Capital! I need to be near a Hobby Lobby but other than that we can negotiate. :^)

Isn’t it long past time for Texas-and probably a few other states-to get out of what has become an expensive and one-sided contract with a place ruled by wannabe tyrants? We aren’t going to be able to afford it for much longer at the very least-the taxes we pay end up helping everyone but those of us who work.

If we went on our own again, the welfare and mojado problems would go away-probably along with the liberals, since they can’t get blood out of a turnip-and the liberals would have no more phony injustice to whine about-we could just close our borders to everyone wanting in until a whole bunch of liberals, illegals and such packed up and got out, and start from there...
