Speaking of the tranny movie (The Danish Girl)... I heard a new term for that tonight, uttered by Julianne Moore: “Gender Confirmation Surgery”, I think it was called. What the hell.....?!
The decision makers behind choosing Rock to MC the Academy Awards show should be ashamed of themselves and fired! He denigrated the Academy, the actors and film industry people in attendance and the world wide audience at large.
To put it bluntly; Chris Rock literally "screwed the Academy Awards pooch" on live TV, broadcast around the world and turned the entire event into a back racist laughingstock! It was nothing short of shameful.
I watched a very little bit at the beginning, Rock made a funny joke about Gary Oldman. Haven’t seen any movies recently cept Star Wars. Still meaning to see “The Revenant”. So DiCraprio gave a global warming spiel eh? Lame.
The Priest sex abuse movie won best picture, predictable. Shades of when the Sean Penn’s “Milk” beat out a picture everyone thought was better.

afterwards, he damn well had good reason to become one!
The only thing Chris did not cry racism about... 
was there not being more dead Blacks in Oscar's "In Memoriam" segment.

That has been the case for decades now. One could make a good show of the whole thing in maybe an hour and half tops. Instead it’s a bloated 4 hour supposed epic and that hasn’t changed in my lifetime. I skipped watching and basically read who won in the morning. If anything notable happened you can watch on you tube or elsewhere.

DiCaprio couldn't let an audience of hundreds of millions get away without some proselytizing. Now he's off in his private jet to meet his private helicopter to be ferried to his private yacht.

I agree. Chris Rock’s comments and the overload of black presenters/subject matter probably turned most whites against them, certainly not for them. Terrible Oscar show.
I had the same reaction. This expression was used twice at the show. I assume that it’s the latest form of political correctness. This used to be called a sex-change operation, then gender reassignment. Now it’s “gender confirmation.” This is an example of how reality is inverted for political purposes. If a person has a sex-change operation, they’re actually denying their given gender.
