DJT treatens to bolt (again)
via the corner | Feb 29. | D.Trump via The Today show

“Well, if they violate the pledge, which they’ve possibly already done, as you understand — if they violate the pledge, I will do something that will make them very unhappy. I have millions of followers.”

Seems that djt is quite willing to aid hillary in the election, in that no third party can realistically win the presidency.

I am not surprised really he has always been more about the sizzle than the steak to me.

I do find it odd that he is not even sure if in his own mind that the GOP as violated the pledge has he sees it.

In the second season of The Apprentice, they added "amnesty" to the game: the winning project manager was protected from elimination should his team lose the next task. The first week's winning project manager's team did lose the second week, the team partially blamed him but he was protected from elimination. The person told Trump that he would give up his amnesty and go to the Boardroom to show he was a good team player.

Trump fired the guy. His reason was not related to the task. He said the guy took a sure thing (the amnesty) and turned it into a risk.

Trump bolting the party would be taking the closest to a sure thing and turning it into a risk.

You either know how to properly resource your thread or you do not. If you do know how and decline to do so, then it is vanity.

Support your thread with a source or acknowledge that you are simply exercising your free speech using FR broadband.

It is OK as people do it all the time but generally notify others before they determine if indulging your rantings is worth the the time or effort.

I am just providing you with a free service here.

Just thinking outloud. If the Donald goes third party and Blumberg (sp?) jumps in. Do we then have a 4 way race? can they get on all the ballots before Nov. Who would benefit? Who would lose? Questions, questions, I have nothing but questions.

If you can stand 5:22 seconds of trump calling every one a liar and childish (what a hoot is that) you can here it in his one voice.

a very interesting question. Bloomberg MIGHT be nearly the egotist that other 3rd party candidates have been in the past.

If he did I see the break down like this (assuming no House election)

GOP Nominee wins - on simple fear of hillary.
DEM Nominee in close second (mainly due to the youth vote holding their breath and pouting because Hillary stole the election from bernie)
Trump 3rd (assuming he does not get even wackier)
Bloomberg 4th (his anti gun stance alone means he can not do much between the to great mountain ranges)

in his own voice.. sorry for the misspelling.

he also insults all Texans for being to dumb to realize that the Senator we chose and support is doing nothing for us. Classy.

I think it is interesting he uses the term followers. Like when he referred to a Presidential term of office as reign.

And his sister the judge passes bills. He is really up there on the lingo !

Why is it the often when I see djt supporters talking about how honest and nearly perfect he is I remember this quote from LOTR. of the ring of Power.

Boromir got up and walked about impatiently. ‘So you go on,’ he cried. ‘Gandalf, Elrond — all these folk have taught you to say so. For themselves they may be right. These elves and half-elves and wizards, they would come to grief perhaps. Yet often I doubt if they are wise and not merely timid.... True-hearted Men, they will not be corrupted.

Funny you should mention that. I just started Return of the King. Yes, I have had the thought of his reasoning on the use of power is very much like Boromir’s (and Sarumon’s too), though he (Boromir) expressed remorse and redeemed himself.

Enjoy the book. The idea of a good King belongs in fantasy, Aragorn is a good King in the books but look at the rest of the monarchs and strong men (the boss in hobbiton for example) and you we note that JRRT really did not much care for monarchs all that much in all likelihood. While we here at free REPUBLIC seem to be split on the issue I guess a world war and 10 million or so dead soldiers does give a person perspective on strong man leaders.

If you want to see a good series on the war, that shaped JRRT’s Middle earth I recommend “The Great War” on youtube.

Feel free to look at the history of winning the general election by running RINO Republicans.

Hey, that’s cute. You have a real talent for clever but meaningless responses. You don’t have a clue, but at least you can console yourself with you ‘wit’.

As with most things it is the thought that counts.

Lets hope that after this carnage what ever is left can still defeat hillary.

If that was not sarcasm.. I hope you do not mind seeing lifetime of FAR LEFT judges at all level of the courts.

Nope, my post was not sarcasm. Yours, however, must certainly be.

The GOPe does not have a very stellar record when it comes to picking Supremes, either.

Enjoy your illusions. That's about all that's left of the GOP.
