I’d love to know if the trump supporters who forgive trump EVERYTHING were as forgiving of Rudy Giuliani’s baggage? I vehemently opposed him but I know there’s more than who opposed him but excuse trump. Hypocrites.

Are you troubled that he’s said he’s never felt the need to ask God’s forgiveness? Admitted indeed bragged about shameful acts but sees no need to ask for forgiveness? I don’t believe we are electing a pastor and so its not really relevant but it is evidence of character or lack thereof. Yes we are all sinners, but Donald does not believe he is.

I worked this morning with one of my fellow subs, measuring and doing a plan for a customer of his-I got home at 1:00, and I didn’t even turn on the TV to see what is going on in the world-there is no news that is not political, apparently-and that has degenerated into shouting, accusations and personal attacks by everyone. I put tuna on some fresh greens for lunch, and I’m FReeping and working on a bid instead of watching the insult fest...

I’ve got just one thing to say about the political climate-I’m going to vote for whomever the nominee is-again-even if it is a cow or a sandwich-I’d rather have more choice, but that is not going to happen, since a third party is still not a winning strategy. I lost my husband, and thanks to Obama and his f***ed up, insane policies that trashed the tourist-dependent economy here, I also lost most of my income, my home and my credit, even though those policies were supposed to help peasants like me-so now I live in a leased, barely basic shelter. I want my income and my stuff back-if a cow, sandwich or lunatic can turn this thing around so I can make some real money again, I’ll do the rest-no handouts needed-damn right I’ll vote for the person on that final R ticket...

That’s my rant-and now I’ll shut up and go...

Could be worse. “Hands up. Don’t shoot.” for example.

Of course whoever is on the R ticket will still be better than the D ticket. How many times have we held our noses and pulled the R lever? Too many to count, but I'm not going to make it easier for the dems to roll over us.
I have a very sick chicken I am trying to help today. I doubt she'll be alive in the morning but as of right now she is still walking, eating, and drinking. But she is in the puffed-up posture and looking like she is in pain. I gave her a warm soak, toweled her off and held her for a while, then gave her some antibiotics, vitamins, and a handful of dried mealworms.

I’m sorry to hear about your chicken-what do you think is wrong with her? I’ve always wondered how a chicken can suddenly become so ill when they seemed fine just awhile before-I hope yours beats the odds-your chickens provide eggs, and that makes them valuable besides being a pet.

I just hope we don’t get played again-since we can see what the fame is, we can’t very well be fooled again-but played is another thing altogether-and now I have a “Won’t Get Fooled Again” earworm...

Oh I’ve said the same, I will vote for the nominee. Praying it’s not Trump.

Well said - that is why I asked Louis if he would vote for whoever the nominee is....he has not replied. I can’t imagine most of the trump supporters voting for Cruz or Rubio after calling them names for months. So the people who wouldn’t vote for Romney because he wasn’t conservative enough seem to be the same people now supporting trump, who isn’t even barely conservative.

Chickens are funny. They hide their symptoms(like a barn cat) until they cannot since the flock is usually pretty savage at dealing with one that is ill. My flock is very small, but I’m happy to report Dixie Chicken is up and eating this morning. I was delaying the walk out to the coop to let them out, sure it would be a sad sight, but relieved for now. I’ll load her up with more meds and extra protein to help her try and fight whatever she’s got.

I think Cruz has been the one most likely to do what he says he will do, based on his past behavior. I don’t see Rubio being able to rise up at this point. I think Cruz/Rubio would be a formidable ticket.

I wonder if a lot of Trump supporters are disenchanted democrats.

I’m so glad your chicken is holding her own-when the chickens on the ranch were ganging up on a weak or ill one, someone was assigned the chore of taking that hen out of the main yard and putting her in a small pen with a box-built for just that-where she could be given meds and eat in peace for a few days-it worked fairly often...

I agree-Cruz is not known for backing down here-one of those lawyers who hammer their point home, and are even downright nasty-a lot of people don’t like that, but it is effective-I happen to like the pitbull attorneys...

As a lawyer, Rubio is probably not a pitbull-I don’t think he will stand up to the powers that be with enough force-he’s already sold out in the senate a few times...

I am sad to hear that Nancy Reagan is gone-she may have been a bit overbearing and into stuff some found strange, but she certainly was a classy 1st lady-Hillary and Michelle look like slum rats compared to Nancy...

My other 3 year old hen, Penelope, who was raised with Dixie, has been sitting next to her on the ground, just keeping company. It’s sad and sweet at the same time. It’s as if she knows her old friend isn’t well and is protecting her and providing comfort.

That is cool-I’m sure any creature appreciates company-other than arachnids and some lizards, of course...

And you know his positions, how? He certainly did not write any of his positions out....that was done by one of his policy lackeys. What IS his position, bc he tells different groups what they want to hear like any other politician walking this earth. His only real record is his donations to liberals. So call me skeptical.
