Who else even mentioned sealing the border before Trump did?

I think the author here is making the wrong argument.

The problem with Trump isn't that he's unelectable. It's that he can win the election. I'll vote for Trump if he's the GOP nominee, but I also have extremely low expectations of him. He's erratic by nature, and he's all over the map on just about any issue that's been discussed at length during this campaign.

A bullsh!t artist from New York City isn't the worse person to have in the White House, but you still have to face the fact that you've got a bullsh!t artist in the White House.

However, I genuinely don't understand why so many people think a man who is unpredictable, thin-skinned, mean spirted, vindictive and who often blurts out stupid things is the sort of person who is suited to be President of the United States.

Oh, I assumed you were talking about Jeb!

Your posts here are just the absurd noises of a fan girl gushing about her hometown hero.

Pry open your welded shut mind.

This is an election where the GOP running mate will be important. If Trump wins, the good news is that he probably won’t serve more than one term — regardless of how well he does in office. I can’t imagine the guy staying interested in that job for four weeks, let alone four years.

John Valentine didn’t even post this. Why the comment to John Valentine?

18 paragraphs for this idiot to say “I’m clueless and out of touch”.

He’ll bring us victories until he, too, gets tired of it.

(This has to be at least half true.)

A country without patriots is not a country.

Ah, but even bullshit makes a fine fertilizer. It’s a matter of putting the resource to proper use, that’s all.

Patriots want a border so we can still be a country.

Oh, the patriots aren’t going to go away; but also a country out of control is also not a country. It might be a place for patriots to play “We wish we still had a country” though.

From the very first murmurings of Rubio, Cruz, and Jindal running for congress I had misgivings about their natural born citizenship. Essentially, we are left with Cruz.

Somehow I just do NOT believe that Founders would have considered the following natural born and qualified for president. For that reason I consider Rubio and Cruz to be ambitious slime!

-Born in Canada
-Parents permanently settled in Canada
-Father a Cuban national
-Did not leave Canada until into his 4th year
-No record of recording his American citizenship as a child
-Did not renounce his Canadian citizenship until into his forties
-Has never provided proof that he is a citizen of the U.S. at all
-And...I have read that his mother voted in Canadian elections.

If Cruz is a natural born citizen then so is the child, grandchild, great grandchild of every baby who gives birth and lives in a foreign country. In a few generations half of the world's population will be eligible for the U.S. presidency!

Children of Mexican war lords born in Mexico to American anchor baby moms could run for president.

You must be the biggest idiot in the world to not recognize the biggest political upheaval since the election of 1860.

That sounds like an exaggerated fear. Trump is stepping stones. Where you use them to go, is up to you. Nobody wished him into your shoe.

John,

If Trump is unelectable and can’t win, why is the Left so frantic to shut down his campaign rallies?

If he’s street hustler, a two bit con man, a flim-flam artist, a political grifter, why not just ignore him?

Someone who has won 15 states and looks set to pick up at least four more next week must be doing something right.

Losers don’t pack stadiums and have people waiting in line to hear them. Just ask Mittens and Little Marco.
