Trump earned 16 more delegates than Cruz did. How does that “lower the gap”?
He didn’t. The gap is wider than it was yesterday.
But it makes the Cruzers feel good about themselves, even though they don’t have a chance to win this.
CNN mentioned this in air, showed ballots being printed with a laser printer, and one analyst expressed concerns about 'not knowing if voters were eligible.'
I don’t recall seeing any polls showing Trump ahead of Cruz in Utah. There could be, but it’s been the general consensus for a while that Cruz would win Utah.
Besides the Mormon nonsense, Soros was in charge of the online voting.......What is really sad/sick though is to think the Mormons are such that they just follow along like sheep behind a nutcase like Beck and a charlatan like Romney.......

Trump’s lead went up buy 18 delegates. There are fewer delegates left so the percentage of delegates Cruz would need got even higher. How is that “closing the gap”?

You are correct. There were no such polls showing Trump winning. I was being sarcastic - poking fun at the ridiculous idea that Trump lost Mormon-heavy Utah only because of fraud.

The Hopers will keep at it with this dogged irrational optimism until even after it takes over 100% of the remaining contests for Cruz to take the nomination. Even then, there will be scenarios bandied about in wild speculation of how some meeting of the establishment minds at the convention will crown Ted.
