Ouch.

January’s numbers are looking bad for Mark Levin, who has been on a recent Crusade against Donald Trump for his “New York Values.”

Levin was already propping Cruz up as a potential 2016 presidential candidate back in 2012 when Cruz had not even been elected to the US Senate.

Trump has shined a light on many cockroaches.

I agree. Trying to blame Trump for what The N>E> publishes is an outlandish stretch of credibility. Evidently, he figured enough people would be so stupid he could slide over to Cruz without a stir.

If the January numbers are bad, wait until he sees the numbers for February and March.

Many times, he started the Trump-trashing within a minute of the start of his program. Sometimes, he is 10 or 15 minutes into the program. But, never fail, he manages to find some lead-in to start the trashing.

He may not care, but the program carrier certainly will. (Cumulus?) He and his rants are losing THEM money.

“McConnell, Paul and all the other control freaks can take a long hike,”

Make them start a third party, the GOP belongs to us.

I listen to country music. But I read Levin and the notion that he is a tranny, globalist member of the CFR who hates the Constitution and loves the Duma is just a bit much too take.

Yeah, the entire article is long on rumor and speculation, short on fact.

Consider this: Levin, as you indicated, just signed an eight-year contract with his syndicator. In this era, virtually no talk host is getting more than a four-year deal, even Rush. No syndication firm would sign a host to that type of contract if they weren’t delivering solid ratings, particularly in the 24-54 demo—the most-prized audience segment.

And the supposed demise of the talk titans is greatly exaggerated. Here’s another fact, conveniently omitted from the article. Rush’s ratings remain strong in many markets, out-performing music programs on FM and even local hosts on the stations that carry his show. In Washington, DC, for example, Rush is normally #3 or #4 in his timeslot, by far the highest-rated host on WMAL and the highest-rated program on an AM station in the city. Obviously, DC is not exactly a conservative-friendly market.

By comparison, Trump backer Michael Savage (who follows Rush on the station) is no better than #13 or #14 in afternoon drive—the time slot that follows Rush. So, the Trump endorsement isn’t exactly bringing more listeners to his show, and he squanders the big audience that Rush delivers from noon to 3 pm.

I switched over to Savage for my commute/workout listening.

SO Trump is Reagan/Heston reincarnate and Levin is GOPe who secretly wants to repeal the second amendment and ban scary black rifles?

That would work, but they have given the GOP a bad name. I would rather start over and show them what honest loyal peole can do.

Who are these “industry insiders”?
Rush is still #1 and Levin & Beck are tied for 4th according to talkers.com.

Let’s compare Levin’s bankroll with yours, before you suggest that he has one listener.

“That would work, but they have given the GOP a bad name.”

Right. And they need to be punished for doing that. If you leave they get away with it.

Mark’s podcasts can be downloaded from his website or iTunes a few hours after his broadcast. Great quality and the commercial breaks are eliminated. Show podcasts are 1 hour and 53 minutes without the breaks

I was thinking the same with Rush. His numbers have to be down. Do these lower ratings affect the amount of money he can charge advertisers?
