Politics is a dirty game. I’m okay with this just as I’m okay with bluffing in poker. It’s deceptive and not completely honest, but that is how the game is played under the agreed rules set in this case by the (rather sleazy) party.

Bound delegates are required to vote as bound, but only in the first round of voting. Unbound delegates are apportioned at will. That’s the rules.

This is the man (Trump) who is the ace negotiator. He is going to make sure we all get a better deal.

Aww. The Tweeter in Chief doesn’t like the rules so he threatens to sue.

I guess some people care too much about the will of the voters being circumvented. Strange isn't it? Perhaps Teddy should sue the National Enquirer for slander. It worked for Hulk Hogan and gawker. But, he probably won't, discovery would be a real problem.

Unless you’re a contractor or employee of one of the businesses he has that goes bankrupt. But that’s just Trump playing by the rules...

The will of the voters? You call 35-40% of the popular vote “The will of the voters”? LOL. Ok.

Cruz has been certified by every state that has held its primary to date

You let us know when that DOES NOT happens.

Trump always has an excuse and a lawsuit ready!

Somebody's always mean and unfair to poor Donald.

If not knowing/understanding the delegate process is any indication of the “deals” Trump will make as president, then we’d all better pray. Simple facts are these: the rules were in place before the campaign began, ALL candidates had access to the rules, Trump is losing delegates as a result of not paying attention to the rules. Hey, it’s the art of the deal!

And now he's putting people on notice to stop taking delegates away when he won them in certain States,

Nobody is taking delegates away. Trump has failed to follow the process in place to elect delegates for the national convention.

What Trump has done is akin to filing a lawsuit and then not bothering to follow the Rules of Civil Procedure that govern the handling of civil lawsuits within the judical system.

Ignorant of the legal process, Trump essentially wants to skip the trial and go straight to closing arguments in front of jury that he had no interest in picking. Guess what happens at trial when the other side picks the jury?

Cruz’ scorched-earth policy will deliver LA to Hilary.
This is why Cruz has become unelectable. Unable to win the hearts and minds of the people, he resorts to parliamentary subterfuge. It’s less and less likely I’ll ever vote for him, much less work for him, along with millions of others, and the Republic dies on the altar of his ego.

“Trump doesn’t ‘threaten’ he put Cruz on notice:”

It’s not a threat, It’s a promise......

No, its an empty promise. He has threatened to sue how many times in the past year.
I think he and Cruz better get their act together or we are going to have more of the same in Washington, its time to discuss the real problems in this country and save the personal problems for later.

“...Cruz played the game better than Trump...”

And we somehow like the fact that we need Harvard lawyer types/Princeton grads to successfully play the delegate game? This is why we need to rid ourselves of establishment tools.

Rest assured, neither Trump nor Cruz will be the Republican nominee this year.

After watching this weekend, and not a single media source. Not even the ones that trade in innuendo and winks. Not a single media source picked up the Ted Cruz affair story.

I know the Cruzers will say, "It's because there's no THERE THERE!"

C'mon, not one outlet picks up a story about a sitting Senator and Presidential Primary candidate having multiple affairs, with possible backdoor money changing hands between competing campaigns?

Not one?

Heck, even Drudge has a Bill Clinton coke story from 1983 from a blog that has 1,000 shares, but no one picks up the Cruz story.

The fix is in. The GOPe will do whatever it takes to use Cruz to stop Trump from getting 1,237. As soon as that happens, Cruz will be discarded (I'm sure the "evidence" of the affairs will pop up then).

Leads to brokered convention and ouila' some Romney-Bush-Ryan-Kasich abomination of a ticket.

I agree. If DJT is such great negotiator he would have been all over the LA delegate issue with charm & influence.

But he was not and therefore is not the negotiator he claims to be.

Sore losers sue.

Trumpy knows the game. He chose to run as a republican and play the game. If he doesn’t win the game it just means Cruz beat him. If Trumpy didn’t want to play the game he should have run 3rd party like he threatened too.

That’s it? That’s all you got, George?

Your answer to an explanation of Trump’s delegate numbers is that I should run for POTUS if I think I am so great?

Bwahahahahaha!

No, I don’t think I am better than everyone else. If fact, it’s clear that you are way better than I at hyperbole.
