I wish all dogs would live this long.Losing a dog that’s like a family member every 10-12 years is terrible.

The Power of a Dog
There is sorrow enough in the natural way
From men and women to fill our day;
But when we are certain of sorrow in store,
Why do we always arrange for more?
Brothers and sisters I bid you beware
Of giving your heart to a dog to tear.

Glad to see all the “compassionate” ones didn’t have her killed and just let her die naturally

That’s how I want to go.
Growl at a couple of people I don’t like and then lie down in my basket.

A dog that size usually does not live to 15. I wonder what the difference was? That dog must have been 200+ in canine years.

133 human years? Not a bad run, but nowadays dogs think they’ll live forever.

Just wow. I had a little dog born in 1985, that lived to be 18. This dog was born a year later. Her age is mind-boggling in dog years.

Bless you RIP. I am hoping for this peaceful end for my 16 y/o Bichon. He has heart failure and is maintained on meds. He is still food alpha over my other two little ones.
Our faithful companions all deserve a gentle easy end of life.
