For what its worth, I wouldn’t want myself treated any differently if I get like that @ decades close to ~120.
One of the biggest animal mistakes I ever made was to keep a cat alive days after he should have been put down. I loved him so much I was blinded to the fact that he was suffering to a point where he’d probably rather be gone. I foolishly kept believing in a ‘miracle’.
Figuring out just when to do it is very hard, but it is an essential responsibility of animal ownership.
