If this many people have already signed the pledge, just think how many millions more will quietly boycott without signing.
Lots of folks won’t want to put their names and email addresses on a list where the homofacists can see and harass them, like what happened to the Mozilla CEO who supported traditional marriage and got harassed out of the company HE founded!
rfreedom4u our fellow FREEPer, offered another idea:
No. Do NOT boycott Target! Do the following instead:
Grab a cart and load it up with items (some perishable). Ask an associate for help and keep them busy as long as you can draw it out. Go through the checkout line but suddenly recall that you left your wallet/purse in the car. As you leave to get your wallet/purse leave a note on the counter stating youve changed your mind due to their bathroom policy.
Or even make a purchase but bring it back the next day for a refund. Make them use their man-hours and it will cost them money.
I learned this from reading Rules for Radicals. Use their own tactics against them!

I Am Woman, Hear Me ROAR:
A GUY IN A DRESS IS NOT A WOMAN AND DOES NOT BELONG IN THE WOMEN’S RESTROOMS AND CHANGING ROOMS.
Period. (Something which, btw, only a real woman can have.)
Interesting...they both must have been rather slightly built, LOL.
I'm surprised by statements like this. I live in a prosperous NYC suburb in NJ. One of these stores opened about five years ago near me. I have found it to be clean and to offer good value on many of the things they sell.
But I don't expect to go back until and unless they apologize to those of us who are not mentally ill.

Agree with your post.
Here in Indiana at least, Target is the “un-WalMart”.
Cleaner, quieter, maybe a bit more expensive but still popular pricing.
The favorite general merchandise place for upscale soccer moms.
Slap down!
Target has been on my ban list for over a decade. Their stupidity on this isn’t surprising.
Target has a credit card, the Target Red Card, that I'm sure makes them a lot of money. I suggest that if you have one of those cards, pay it off and cancel it.
It's more direct and immediate than a boycott. If enough people do that, it will make them sit up and take notice.
And thank you both for your service to our country.
Based on my experience there? Their policy is "Unkempt."
Bump....
this. just like we won with Chick-fil-A and things stopped for quite a while, this is the next hill to fight for.
so do lots of schools. but those making the stink don’t think that’s good enough. they want to be celebrated publicly.
I, and my significant other, did quite a bit of shopping there. In the past few days alone, we have avoided making two trips into our Target by shopping at Wal Mart and Kroger instead. We’ll pull back the dollars for you.
Don’t shop Target. But, a stupid decision IMHO.
“”Never shopped there in the first place - awful stores.””
That makes as much sense as my liberal sister. Never has listened to Bill O’Reilly but doesn’t like him. Never has listened to Rush but doesn’t like him.
Not me, Boycotts are useless...........I'm gonna stop in to the local Target this week and check out the women's bathroom.........
My advice to Target since they removed any signs that designate gender at their clothing bins and the subsequent permission of perverts to piss where they wish, is to go to their clothing bins and mix women’s and men’s clothing together. It would be true to their cause. Never mind it may confuse shoppers. They’ll get over it.
As with the Trump phenomenon and the conservative backlash against the Chick-fil-a boycott, there is an opportunity for Christians and other cultural conservatives to embarrass the uniparty and the cultural, business, and political establishments. Don't shop at Target.
Good idea for people who have that card. Remember how Macy’s went down?
And thank you for your kind words.
