Robert Downey Jr. says that, as a rule, he doesnt make endorsements in presidential elections but that didnt stop the actor from speculating about who his most famous character, Tony Stark/Iron Man, would choose in this years contentious race.
In an interview with Howard Stern this weekend, Downey Jr. said that Iron Man would cast his vote for Democrat frontrunner Hillary Clinton.
I believe Tony [Stark], being a budding feminist, he would say its time to have some feminine energy in the White House, the actor told Stern on the shock jocks popular Sirius XM radio show.

Iron Man/Tony Stark sided with the pro-government control side (the wrong side) in the new Captain America Civil War movie. So, sure, Stark would vote for Hillary.
Stark is a much less like able character than Steve Rogers - Stark is admittedly a narcissist (see Avengers scene with Stark ,Pepper Potts and Agent Coulson, while Captain America is a caring, selfless hero....

Actually, Tony Stark turning the business empire over to Pepper Potts while otherwise engaged, is conceptually more likely as a Trump move, based on his employing competent women in advanced positions within the organization.
Too bad some of the idiots here can't separate fantasy from reality. He was asked about Tony Stark (not a real person folks), not about himself.
To his credit he keeps his politics to himself but all indications, at least according to articles I found on Google, show him to be a conservative.......
