Looking for an up-to-date and complete list of primary states won by Trump and Clinton thus far. With Bernie Sanders winning 10 of the last 15 state primaries on the Democrat side, I think Trump can pronounce that he has won more state primaries in the highly-contested Republican presidential race than the Democrat front-runner has.
IIRC, Trump lost in Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Idaho, Alaska, Ohio, Wyoming and Wisconsin. If I've missed any, let me know. Trump is practically guaranteed to win all the other states left.
IMO, it would be a great talking point for Trump to proclaim that his campaign has won more states this year than Hillary has. It would certainly poke a large hole in the narrative that Hillary is the presumptive winner.
Yup. Don’t kill the snake yet. Wait until after the convention and its harder to replace her.
I don’t know if Trump wants to push for someone different. He has a legit shot at beating cankles. I don’t know if it’s someone else. She’s damaged goods, and Trump knows it.
Has Trump Won More States Than Hillary?
LOL. Of course.
Nobody likes Hillary.
But she bought all the superdelegates.
It is meaningless who has won more in their primary.
With State Dept. funds
Trump has won 29 states, plus the North Marianas Islands. The primaries in Oregon, Washington, New Jersey, California, New Mexico, South Dakota and Montana remain. He’ll win all of them since he’s the only candidate still in the race. That will put his total of states at 36. Cruz has won 10 states plus Guam, Kasich 1 and Rubio 1 plus DC and Puerto Rico.
So far, Sanders has won 19 states, so even if Hillary won all the remaining states, she could only win 31 plus DC, PR, Islands, and Dems overseas. Even winning all the oddball primaries and caucuses, she still couldn’t outperform Trump.
Except as a talking point.
Media meme: Trump barely winning fractured GOP race.
Media meme: Hillary sailing to the nomination despite pesky challenge from Sanders.
With one stat, Trump can smash both memes. If he can say he won more often than her, it implies the GOP voters are more unified behind Trump than the Democrat voters are unified behind Hillary.
The primaries are separate.
