Radio host Rush Limbaugh used Wednesday’s show to do an experiment on Donald Trump’s supporters.
“I found a YouTube last night, and I’m gonna play this for you, and I’m curious to know how Trump supporters react to this,” Mr. Limbaugh told his audience before playing a 2012 clip from Fox News’ “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”
Mr. Trump said at the time that he thought Hillary Clinton was a “terrific person.” He also called former President Bill Clinton a “really good guy.”
Mr. Limbaugh then used his email account to gauge reactions to the broadcast by the billionaire’s supporters. He also asked listeners to weigh in on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
“This is exactly what I was expecting,” the host said after a commercial break. “One reaction is, ‘You know, this would make a great ad debunking how Trump is attacking Hillary because she’s a woman. This can just get rid of all of these attacks that Trump’s out there hitting her because she’s a woman, that Trump hates her or whatever.”

Unless, of course, you are a radio show host who makes a living out of bloviating and inciting passions from a large percentage of your audience so as to generate large ratings and thus please your advertisers. Then of course, no change is necessary or tolerated.
Rush has made the wrong choice. Funny how he was OK with Mitt, who doesn’t have a conservative bone in his body and has been a governor, and governed his state as one of the most leftist left wing liberals that has ever walked the face of the earth.
He implemented socialized medicine in his state, among many other left wing programs including helping to expand the gay agenda. His version of commiecare was used as a template for Obamacare.
So anyone who had kind things to say about Mitt when he was running, has no right to rip apart Trump for a few lefty things he has said in the past as a private citizen in a city ruled by democrats.
Why anyone would waste their time listening to these buffoons is beyond me. Go Trump!
I think Rush and a lot of the GOPe have a plan to support Trump publicly but undermine him wherever possible behind the scenes to help the hildabeast.
Think about it, if you have a conservative radio empire and we have conservatives in charge of everything, who is going to listen? People listen to these shows today because they are pissed!
If Hillary wins, everyone will be pissed and need a place to listen to sanity. So its not in Rush’s interest to actually have a conservative win!
Rush Limbaugh needs to get over it, his Canadian illegal immigrant cruz is not going to be president and Donald is.

I think it does. Rush is still butthurt that his fellow Busbot Cruz will not be the nominee despite his best effort. I think it is an ego thing and he wants to prove to all the rubes that he was right to assuage his butthurt. He needs to pull his head out and realize it will either be Trump or Hillary. The Calgary Ted thing is over. Who does Rush suppose he is helping with this kind of thing? Perhaps since his idol GW Bush called Hillary his sister-in-law, Rush wants to help her? Maybe he wants to help his fellow “solid conservatives” like Ryan deal with Trump? I do not know. I only know that I am sorry that I paid for a year of his podcast before he went into full Cruzlim ayatollah mode.
The “Trump is perfect” crowd is mighty small.

Because conservative talk radio really isn't vital anymore. When it came on the scene in the late 1980's it was truly revolutionary, there were no other outlets for conservative thought. Now there are almost infinite options, websites, pod-casts, etc. Up through about 2010 I listened religiously to Rush Limbaugh, but over the last several years my listening has declined so much that when I tuned by car radio to Rush Limbaugh the other day I realized that I hadn't listened to him in over a year and hadn't even noticed.
That’s why I left the Republican Party, Rush, Mark and the like several years ago. I guess it’s never too late......;)

Crap on enough people long enough, and Hillary will win. I’ve got family members who plan to sit this election out. It is tough enough for me to try to get them to vote for Trump without Trumpsters attacking me and calling me a douche bag!
