A Saudi groom who took his bride to a new home for their honeymoon got the shock of his life when he discovered that she brought with her a gun. When he recovered from the shock, he immediately divorced her.
The unnamed groom had just moved into the new home with his wife in the Southern Saudi town of Baha when he found that there was a gun in her bag.
He was shocked just after getting into his new house, he decided to take the bride back to her home after divorcing her, Sada newspaper said.
The brides father blamed her uncle who gave his niece the gun as a wedding present
he tried to explain this to the groom.
I think she needs a real man.
Good news for the camels.
It was a shotgun wedding.
The bride said to the groom, I think we should both see other men.
May divorce be with you.
I pray for the day that Islam becomes Waslam.
The story repeats itself about three times, never going any deeper than the first statement. Why did the groom ‘get allergic” to the sight of a gun in her purse? Had he been beating her, or planning to? Is it ‘UnIslamic’ for a woman to protect herself from a stranger’s rape (someone other than the fiance).?
“I break with thee....I break with thee....I break with thee.”
And then you throw dog poop on her shoes.
I’d say that enhances her value, packing heat. Good for her.
Exactly.
So now this guy has “divorced” her, does that mean she will be killed by the family in an “honor killing”?
It’s disconcerting to consider beating an armed woman.
What would have happened to her if it had been a Bible in her purse instead of just a gun? Lashes or stoning?
Boom! “That’s what ya get for knot ph—king me right!
Post a pic of the gun and I will decide if the groom made a mistake
The NRA sticker on her car (which she’s not allowed to drive) should have been his first clue.
She sounds like a keeper.
I was half expecting the groom to blame the NRA. Instead it was the uncle.
Apparently, so does he.
What a pussy.
The guy I mean.
