Has anyone else noticed that -- all of a sudden -- there are very few mass shootings lately?
In fact, almost none.
It's almost like Obama realized that these events aren't getting the clamor for gun control he wanted.
It's almost like Obama flipped a switch.
Things that make you go "Hmmmmm."
There are mass shootings all the time.
It simply doesn’t count when it’s black people shooting other black people, because it’s not politically correct to acknowledge that that’s the nature of the vast majority of mass shootings.

Every one of those (and others) will be counted in statics presented by gun nuts trying to outlaw the 2nd amendment (armaphobics if we can add “aphobics” to something like the left does to make it seem like a real disease) . If you haven’t heard about them, my guess is these haven’t had the correct racial/religious mix to make the news.
Either that or simple thinkers can’t figure out the complicated machinations going on right under their noses.
What happened to the usual April 19 slaughter this year?
Rumor is that the handlers got sacked after the CO Planned Parenthood incident. It was to sloppy and not enough dead. It’s just a rumor though.
There was the mall shooting in the DC area on May 6.
I’m no grassy knoll guy but...I’ve often wondered about these mentally ill zip-wads that do so much damage like Arthur Bremer who shot Wallace and that “bats” guy who killed Chris Kyle. Most of such nut cases are not manipulated patsies or fall guys but...a few might be manipulated.
IMO, you won’t see one anytime soon for one reason only:

We is the one talking reciprocity (like drivers licenses) and speaking about, “If ABC was *armed*, XYZ (might) never had happened/gotten so bad”.

I have noticed that too. The first part of. Obama’s administration had a record breaking spike of mass shootings.
As soon as Obama took office cartel violence went off the charts and became extremely gruesome, ultra violent and strangely random and senseless.
Later we learn the Obama Admin was illegally running guns to Mexico
We also learn that Janet Napolitano at DHS is working to tag Obama Admin opponents as “domestic terrorists”
We also learn that the DOJ and DHS are also collecting statistics about guns from America (and supplied by Obama) creating the ultra violence to use a justification for gun control, which they actually did try to aggressively implement
We also learn that the Obama DOJ has formed an alliance with one of the Mexican drug cartels to destroy the other cartels, possibly in return for free and protected access to transport drugs and illegal aliens across the border.
When one of this cartel's members killed Border patrol agent Brian Terry, Janet Napolitano personally flew to Arizona to secure his release back to Mexico. Only the backlash from an open revolt by members of the Border Patrol, local law enforcement, the FBI and other LEOs prevents the killer from walking back to Mexico where he never would be herd from again. Rumors are, one of the Fast and Furious weapons found and used by the cartel at the murder site left the scene in the trunk of Janet Napolitao’s car, never to be seen again.
As soon as the Obama Admin's iilegal gun running, connections to Cartels and targeting of Conservatives as terrorists was exposed and Fast and Furious gun running became public and Border patrol agent Brian Terry was murdered with one of the Fast and Furious weapons the violence in Mexico came to immediate and sudden stop - literally almost overnight.
Kind of makes you go hmmmmmmmm ..... as well.
And inasmuch as snow is a voluntary human action, influenced by human operatives, I see your point.
I wonder if revealing the ‘crisis actors’ used at Sandy Hook, the Boston bombs incident, and other staged events has anything to do with the lull?

Please tell jsanders2001 that his job as a handler for just these sort of shooters (albeit abroad) was a "conspiracy theory."

1 in 27 people in Texas carry a firearm per “just” the concealed carry / license to carry data that Texas DPS issues each year last I looked. Now add legal to carry without a license in your vehicle both handgun and or rifle or shotgun to the mix and I will suggest 10 in 27 folks armed legally total. Add in a criminal element that neither cares or follows the laws and does what they want for armed robbery or bangin for gangs or cartels ..... and thats a better than half of just adults in texas that can stop, delay or harass any trash on a mass killing spree in my opinion.
Consider 1+ million licenses, legal non licensed adults and how many of our 27 million Texas population are adults versus children. Thats a “good start” for and armed polite society ........

Then there is the role of the press in shaping perception, see “Summer of the Shark,” which most people took as an increase in shark attacks, but was only an increase in shark attack reports. The actual number of shark attacks that summer was below average.
