Captain America revealed as a secret Nazi in new comic

When fans ran out to grab Marvel Comics’ “Captain America: Steve Rogers #1” on its release Wednesday, they were not expecting this. Captain America discloses in the issue that he is in fact a secret operative of the evil, formerly Nazi organization, Hydra.

The dramatic twist happens right on the last page, as Captain America prepares to throw his supposed ally, Jack Flag, off an airplane, presumably to his death, and exclaims, “Hail Hydra!”

Even Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most recently in “Captain America: Civil Wars,” was shocked.

Writer Nick Spencer assured readers that this isn’t a gimmick or a trick: Captain America, whose alter ego is Steve Rogers, is going to remain a secret Hydra operative, and the next issue will explore how he came to be a double-agent for the sinister organization.

[snip]

Some interpreted the twist as a slight to the character’s Jewish creators, Joe Simon (born Hymie Simon) and Jack Kirby (born Jacob Kurtzberg)....

Liberal comic book writers of today can't resist the impulse to destroy everything American, and to equate those who stand with America and liberty with Nazis.

It seems all Marvel has going these days are fags and Nazis. That company sure went to hell quick.

Most, perhaps all, comic book writers are hard-core Leftists. Making Captain America evil is simply par for the course.

Hmmm...and Sergeant Rupert Ritzick (Joe E. Ross) always said that comic books don’t lie.

That’s what happens when you hire liberals to write your comic books. Probably the next superhero they create will be a gay black muslim who fights against the intolerant and hateful right-wingers.

this is why we need Trump; people need to restore honour to American culture, not this Islam/liberal crap.

It’s the beginning of a plot. The Cap will not remain in Hydra.

I don’t know about that.....the article said that “Writer Nick Spencer assured readers that this isn’t a gimmick or a trick: Captain America, whose alter ego is Steve Rogers, is going to remain a secret Hydra operative, and the next issue will explore how he came to be a double-agent for the sinister organization.”

It has been a while since I read comic books but I remember Captain America being created to fight the Nazis. That was the character’s raison d’etre. This kind of full circle culture jamming could be compared to someone here turning the comic book character Saul Alinsky or his Kenyan henchman into a reincarnated Revolutionary War patriot.

The key to comic storylines is that, no matter the storyline, the character always returns to its roots. It will probably turn out that he actually quit hydra or that he joined to fund the main baddie.

gay black muslim who fights against the intolerant and hateful right-wingers.

And is a illegal alien, not qualified to be president, perhaps?

It’s designed to get people who wouldn’t be talking about a Captain America comic talking. Don’t give them the satisfaction.

Spencer is just another in a long line of leftist punks who dishonor the memories of the original creators...comic movies may be doing decent box-office, but the sales of the comics are in the toilet. They wonder why...

I always thought comic books were a waste of time - even as a child I thought they were a waste of time. Now, it looks like the comic book publishers have come to the same conclusion.

FYI, DC killed their latest rendition of Superman the same day Marvel turned Cap into a traitor.

DEATH OF SUPERMAN (NEW 52)

From what I can gather, the Superman in black is the Pre-New 52 Superman who’s been transported into the New 52 universe.

From – Superman Vol. 2 #52
