This is presented in a way that says: “Look at the ignorance of the past!”. Truth is, homosexuality IS a mental illness, and (many, but not all) adult male homos will groom, seduce, or attack young boys. And the cars in the film are from the ‘60s, not the ‘50s.

I never watched Diff’rent Strokes so I don’t remember that character, but when you consider the name of that show and its foray into normalizing homosexual characters by introducing a character who suffers from that mental illness, it makes you wonder if Ho’wood was slowly working out their ominous plan.
Is that for real? Or is it a display in some modern art museum?

Very interesting! Hawthorne, Inglewood, Redondo Beach,, El Segundo, Lawndale and Gardena were almost all white back then too.
This Police Dept. Public Service warning is interesting because it was distributed to Jr High and High Schools for boys to watch. Homosexual predators were a problem in San Diego too. I remember boys in my class talking about “queers” in the restrooms at Balboa Park, the Zoo and the Stadium. (All 3 of those were adjacent to our schools).
