When people with common sense recognize homosexuality as a mental illness and sexual perversion that leads to other dangerous behaviors.
I remember seeing a porta-potty that full on a construction site! A few days later it burned down.
I’m surprised it didn’t explode. LOL.
I also remember seeing an outhouse at an abandoned farm so full I figure they left when the outhouse got too full.
I said to myself..”Man There is NO WAY I would use something like that!”
A few seconds later a violent pain ripped through my guts and guess who ended perched up there just like a little bird!
Didn’t even have time to hunt for a bush to get behind.
And that Porta-Potty before it burned, Same thing happened to the other man on my crew. He had a pain and didn’t have time to hunt for a clean potty, and he also ended up perched.
When you gotta go, you GOTTA GO!
I had often heard the term “queer” but we just thought it was someone weird. No one explained to us what it was. We were well insulated from the realities of the world.
When we got in the military we immediately learned what it meant! The immediate thought was...”NO! Can’t be! That’s just not right!”
Then WE were pegged to serve KP at the out-processing barracks which was full of queers. The Drill Sgt told us...
“You men will see things you have NEVER seen before! YOU will NOT laugh, snigger, giggle, point or anything else. You will serve the food and never say a word about what you see! IS THAT CLEAR!”
“SIR! YES SIR!”
And boy did we see a lot. It was a year or two before we really believed such people existed, but by then we had learned to watch out for them.
And every year we had the mandatory anti-homo riot act read to us and we signed the paper stating we understood it.
