But to answer your question : why are they going towards Hillary?
The answer is “she’s not Trump.”
Trump said very ugly things about good conservatives that they perceive to be untrue. Trump is thus highly suspect in their eyes. Trump has done zero to heal these wounds, instead doubling down on the hostility.

Well, Utah GOP Leaders are not supporting Trump in ways that have long traditions.
If Mia Love and the Lt. Gov (political animals) can walk out on the Republican candidate, one would think they have cover with the local Electorate, or they wouldn’t do it.
Hillary is a huge panderer. If it’s between sending something unpleasant to Cleveland or Salt Lake City, watch out Salt Lake City.
And Hillary knows nothing about the economy. How many areas of Utah depend on positive economics and customers with disposable income?

Mormons have never been conservitive or patriotic. They’re only for the Mormons and the rest us can burn. They attached themselves to the right when the left was attacking them and now they attach themselves to the left in order to futher Mormon goals.
The Jewish community and the miners union all ran to Obama. Why not the Mormons to Hellary. Major failure, all.
Prolly because democrats will give them polygamy even though it will really be to accommodate muslims and not mormons
