Yep - One reason that race relations were considered ‘good’ or progressing is because white acquiesced to all kinds of racial BS. Let’s do away with all these race groups and see where the chips really fall.

It is not exactly 'fair' or the same thing. Italian or Polish is not the same or as broad/racial as Hispanic or African-American. If it was White or European-American then maybe. But even then many of these groups are specifically politically exclusive such as the Black or Hispanic Caucus. They work politically and influence/enact laws and legislation for their race and by definition are anti-white. Whites have no such representation. Whites are supposed to be all inclusive.
