Although the radical left has days of protests planned and has a history of protests, the Cleveland police has issued a stand down order to officers, I can exclusively report.
Remember when thugs from the left attacked Trump supporters at his San Jose rally? The San Jose mayor and police chief claimed it would have been “too dangerous” for officers to do their jobs by defending Trump supporters.
That same “logic” is being applied by Cleveland officials, who have given up on even trying to control the radical left.
If you’re attending the RNC, do not travel alone. Be street smart and travel in groups.
Police will not help you.
I and others will be covering the RNC live.
We won’t be inside where it’s air-conditioned. We’ll be outside providing a raw and live look at the protests.
One thing to remember- FIVE policemen were just murdered. I doubt most police anywhere in this country will have much sympathy for rioters or leftists.

If the local Cleveland law enforcement will not maintain law and order because of political pressure, Governor Kasich should call out the state National Guard to flood the city with armed men to ensure safety.

in 1991 there were black riots in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, against Hasidic (very Orthodox) Jews. Dinkins PURPOSELY held back dozens of mounted police that had been mobilized and stationed only a couple of blocks away by the NYPD. There was an incredible amount of vandalism and violence, and people died because that stupid SOB purposely held back the only force that could quell the riots. He has blood on his hands, the bastard.
Never, never, never overestimate the intelligence of local pols, esp. the Dem variety thereof.
