Although the radical left has days of protests planned and has a history of protests, the Cleveland police has issued a stand down order to officers, I can exclusively report.
Remember when thugs from the left attacked Trump supporters at his San Jose rally? The San Jose mayor and police chief claimed it would have been “too dangerous” for officers to do their jobs by defending Trump supporters.
That same “logic” is being applied by Cleveland officials, who have given up on even trying to control the radical left.
If you’re attending the RNC, do not travel alone. Be street smart and travel in groups.
Police will not help you.
I and others will be covering the RNC live.
We won’t be inside where it’s air-conditioned. We’ll be outside providing a raw and live look at the protests.

The last paragraph is important as it references the changes agreed on as a result of the Tamir Rice shooting.
“Every department that agreed to send officers here had to sign a memorandum of understanding. The agreement, among other things, required the departments to train their officers in Cleveland’s mass arrest policies, which were altered last year to settle a lawsuit brought by the ACLU on behalf of dozens of protesters arrested following the acquittal of a Cleveland police officer charged in a 2012 deadly shooting.”

Who is Cleveland Police Chief?
I saw someone from the City of Cleveland on Varney this morning who was on some security committee for the convention. He said they will have 5,000 officers on hand, which is considerably up from what I heard a couple of months ago.
