Dr. Carson - Surgeon General in Trump Administration
Trump’s children, especially his three eldest ones, are accomplished in their own right. Eric, Don Jr, and Ivanka could of let all that money and their father’s fame get to their heads and be National Enquirer material several times a year, but they’re all solid citizens and impressive business people.
Michelle Obama gave a DNC speech in 2008. She was accused by bloggers of lifting lines for her DNC speech from Saul Alinsky.
One example: Alinsky wrote, in Rules for Radicals: “The standards of judgment must be rooted in the whys and wherefores of life as it is lived, the world as it is, not our wished-for fantasy of the world as it should be.” Michelle Obama said: “... about ‘the world as it is‘ and ‘the world as it should be.'”
Regardless, Obama was elected in 2008. Small potatoes, one day shelf life as you said.
Tomorrow Mike Pence speaks and then Trump on Thursday. I expect both speeches to be powerful and the MSM will be too busy trying to dissect and criticize points in them to discuss the Melania speech anymore. I expect Trump’s acceptance to be an all out artillery barrage on Hillary that will cause the media mouthpieces to go hysterical!
He was good. Good speech. They all were.

HuffPo is already lying about what Carson said. Headline says he compared Hillary to Lucifer. He said no such thing.
But the Father of Lies... might be what we should expect from a follower of Alinsky.
WOW! If he had campaigned the primaries like that we would probably have voted him to be our nominee.
Great speech. Dr. Carson is clear, calm and reasonable. We have one nation under God and sadly, a candidate, Clinton, who admires Alinsky and his book dedicated to Lucifer.
I am starting to think the overall theme for this convention is actually
Politically Incorrect Again
and I for one love it. Speak truth to power.
I enjoyed how Carson started off by proclaiming his contempt for political correctness.

The Office of the Surgeon General is as far beneath Dr. Carson as it is above the current office holder. The office should be filled from within the Corps just like the Chief of Staff positions are in the military.
Dr. Carson could be Sec. Health and Human Services, though he is interested in education - I’d love for him to be Sec. Ed. with the stated goal of closing the department down entirely.
I see Dr. Carson heading up HHS, Education and Surgeon General and consolidating them into a single cabinet position with SIGNIFICANT reductions in the overhead and personnel.
Carson gave a great speech.
Something a lot higher than Surgeon General - a place with real authority and power - Dept. of Ed. needs to be ABOLISHED.........
Carson was definitely animated.
