I don’t see any benefit they’d receive by lying. Islam is the protected faith in Europe and Christianity is the attacked religion.

Not necessarily. Taquiya embraces ham salads. For those intending to die in the act of killing infidels ALL sins of any sort are instantly forgiven as the killer is instantly whisked into the land of shade trees where rivers run under and the houris abound.

Which is why a lot of these guys spend their last days in strip clubs, getting drunk submerged in pornography.

That said, for the sake of the true converts, we must accept the risk of false converts.

Question is, regarding the refugees who are sincere about converting, are those European churches still Christian enough to consider these to be authentic conversions?

The old style phrase was Levantine Arabs, or Arabs from the Levant (basically the eastern Mediterranean Arabs south and east of Turkey. The word is French as they ran the most important parts, Lebanon and Syria, after the Ottoman defeat in WWI (Lawrence of Arabia and all that). Basically includes Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq. Jordan is unique in that's where the Palestinian diaspora is a majority and integrated into the society. The native population there is Bedouin Arab.

They are very distinct from the Arabian Peninsula Arabs in Saudi and the Gulf states. As a vibrant trading area (remember the Phoenicians? They're called Lebanese now) for thousands of years and as a part of several empires, Phoenician, Persian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, and Ottoman it has always been a crossroad of races and cultures. Levantine Arabs, because of their business savvy and education, are the imported middle management and professionals -medicine for example - backbone of the Gulf states. And because its the original heartland of early Christianity and the mass conversions during the Crusades it's also where there has been a significant Arab Christian population.

I remember being hosted, single and in my late twenties, at the home of a Christian customer in Damascus who made sure his marriageable daughter sat beside me at dinner and as we looked through the family album with pictures of her at the beach in a bathing suit. I was being cultivated as ticket the Hell out of Syria and to America for the family. These Arabs more or less invented the real Art of the Deal and I learned a lot doing business with them.

I agree, these could be very genuine conversions. While I’ve heard stats that 1 in 4 muslims want to see all western civilization eradicated, there are potentially 3 in 4 muslims who are muslim simply they were forced or don’t know any better.

This would be one exception where it would be awful to send these folks back because they would be going to their own death. It makes me want to say that if islamic migrants renounce islam and keep a clean criminal record, maybe they can be allowed to stay. Then again, that also sounds a lot like paving the way for renouncing Christianity for the mark of the beast.

Perhaps they should be required to burn a koran and eat a ham sandwich just as a test.

So a German priest, who speaks...German...converts some goat roper who speaks Arabic or Farsi, or whatever? Sure!

My understanding is that the churches in Germany and the neighboring countries had a lot of interpreters and translators to solve the problem, a lot of the Bibles, hymns and other tracts were translated into the local languages. Also a lot of the educated Syrians speak French (the refugees who make it to Europe need to have a lot of money and education to get that far I guess) and many of the pastors also speak French, and the Syrians who get permits are required to take intensive German classes early on. Some speak English and Italian too, so communication isn’t that hard.

Oh I see, so it sounds like the Levantine Arabs maybe speak Arabic but must be ethnically very different from the Arabs in the Gulf. Even some of the North African Christian converts from Algeria and Morocco (they had a bunch of them in Germany, France and Belgium esp) looked surprisingly European, but they didn’t look the same as the Syrians and Lebanese— I think maybe that’s just because the Romans and then the Vandals were in North Africa so much, plus the Barbary pirates taking all those European slaves, so a lot of the Bedouin Arabs maybe have something similar like the Levanine Arabs but not the same. I guess I had this image in my mind from the work in Dubai and Yemen since the ones in the Gulf are more like the “Arab Arabs” we often assume. BTW the Arabs in the Gulf countries like UAE and Yemen are the most virulent racist I’ve ever seen against Africans, they basically use “African” and “slave” interchangeable which in a way isn’t surprising since the ones in the Gulf started the African slave trade that American whites somehow all get blamed for. Just shows what a pack of lies the cultural Marxists hypocrites in US universities are always saying, their real goal is just to divide and weaken the Western culture of the US, no real social justice goals there.

Interesting.

These new converts are, placing their own lives at risk and they know this.

A handful of hardcore Muslims staking out a few Christian Churches taking photos for a future hit list.

When Germany starts reporting the killings of these recent converts will their media/Gov’t tell us the victims and perpetrators religion? And what motivated the attack?

And come to think of it, what you’re saying about the Levantine Arab description makes sense from the ones I was talking to in the churches, tons of the Syrians (and many of the Turks and Kurds) were indeed professionals involved in very successful business and trades like engineering, law and medicine, and they very much knew their way around international trade. Several of the ones I talked to even knew my own business in import and export better than I did, they could speak 5 or 6 languages sometimes and could quote the currency exchange rates and the best shipping routes by heart.

One of the most baffling things I saw in my recent trip in fact was a neighborhood in Malmo in Sweden where they have a lot of the Assyria Christians (I think that’s common term) and many of the newer Syrian and Iraqi refugees, again with the churches filled with recent converts. There was a street market full of stalls outside where a lot of the newcomers were selling imported goods, a pretty good way I guess to get on their feet on the ground economically. One of the young women at a popular salad vending kiosk looked blonder and fairer skinned than most of the Swedes at the market, like a model to be honest about it. Yet when the American guys there (probably hoping for a date) kept trying to practice their Swedish on her, she kept laughing and saying she was from Damascus in Syria. I guess she must have gotten a kick out of all the shocked looks she got from that.

Hopefully so. Merkel got absolutely humiliated in the recent German elections by the Afd, and the polls show she and her party are in for an even more epic humiliation for the next set of elections. As stupid as she is she probably still has at least a remnant of political survival instinct, and in any case her party members absolutely do not want to go down in a ship with an idiot like her as the captain. So the party brass and certainly the lower level people have been stepping up the monitoring and deportations of the hard-core Muslims. I suspect the ones on the ball clearly recognize the Islamists would try to target the converts, and so are adjusting their monitoring and police and deportation procedures to root out the types who would consider that.

I doubt it. They are more like to say it's a bunch of Catholics killing each other, like in Rwanda.

Some picture examples a friend just emailed me— can totally see a European concubine somewhere in this Syrian girl’s history

She looks a bit like the Syrian blonde girl I saw in Malmo Sweden, though the girl at the salad stall was even blonder than her, like I said she looked more Vikings that most of the Swedes. This woman too

Back when we went into Iraq, Ann Coulter said, “We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity”.

What happened instead is that somehow the West unleashed these 7th century Islamic death cultist on to the rest of the world.

We did this in part by allowing the Left to hold Islam in equal standing with Christianity.

Assuming that these are real conversions, this throws a wrench into self hating SJW politicians plans to destroy Western culture, where the Lord decides “you think you’re going to diminish the Church this way? I’ve got other plans, now watch the Holy Spirit do this!”
One could hope and pray.

The redhead is really a striking photo.

Don’t forget that the Soviet Army spent some 10 years in Afghanistan.

Of course that was in the 1980s.

The US and our coalition forces have been there since 2002.

You will find very similar examples in Vietnam.

Absolutely, it would be delicious irony to see the SJW Cultural Marxists plans backfire on them due to something like this. They wouldn’t be able to take it.

That is true, and the Russians were there for like a decade or something if I recall so there was probably some interaction going on when the soldiers were off duty with the local girls. Though I wonder how many soldiers actually rotated through there, my understanding is it was maybe a couple hundred thousand, a big number to be sure but who knows how many of them actually got things on with the local girls while on leave. It’s probably one contribution, among some others.
