I had an old router lying around so I named the connections and fired it up. It's connected to nothing. I'm sure it bugs the $#!& out of my neighbors.

You actually have century link that works? They cut the fiber optic cable to move it with out telling anyone and even the technicians were looking to find out why all the phones and internet quit. A communication company that can not communicate.
