Definitely. Psychotic even. Why would anyone consider that entertainment?

Loved Bernie. Jack Black is great. His Nacho Libre is also a great movie and fun for the whole family.

My All American which is the story of Feddie Joe Steinmark. I played HS football with one of his teammates, Scooter Monzingo. Many of the players at UT that year I had played against as an underclassman and watched and cheered UT to the College Football NC. It is a great story about a player's drive to succeed and how he faced mortality. On a personal note, Arkansas tried to recruit me and Texas ignored me.

Just be warned, after watching it, I would have gladly volunteered to drop a nuke on Berlin.

An Excellent movie is Michael Caine in Harry Brown, about an ex Royal Marine widower out to avenge his long-time friend's death at the hands of low-life street thugs. It is a must-see.

Remember (2015) with Christopher Plummer and Martin Landau. Got it on DVD from Netflix. Synopsis: With the aid of a fellow Auschwitz survivor and a hand-written letter, an elderly man with dementia goes in search of the person responsible for the death of his family.

For a made for TV movie, “The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay” was good.

I second Nightcrawler. Jake Gyllenhaal lost so much weight for the role, he became the depraved, creepy character he portrayed.

That term was actually used at the site I pulled that info from, so I gather that is what the seeing eye dog was referred to as. I was looking up Sammie Davis Jr. Jr., wondering why I had never heard of him, or was it a mistype. Though I had a feeling that it was the name of a seeing eye dog LOL.

Sounded like an interesting movie.

Haven't seen Calvary, but both In Bruges and The Witch are very good. I especially thought they did a great job on an obviously meagre budget with The Witch. This seemed for a while as if it was going to be a "psychological thriller" which I despise as a substitute for genuine horror. But it ultimately broke in the direction of occult. A nice offering.
