The actual shooting, which occurred on July 28, isn't seen in the footage because the officer's body camera didn't record the moment he opened fire. However, police say the officer who shot O'Neal in the back violated policy. The teen, police learned, was not armed.
Unionized government employee with guns.
“Unionized government employee with guns.”
Give it a rest.
.
Zero muzzle discipline. A great vid to demonstrate what not to do, regardless of the circumstances in context.
I think I’ll hold my fire on this one, regardless how it looks.
No kidding. Don’t steal cars. Don’t ram police cars. Don’t run. Don’t get shot, pretty simple really. Although firing a full mag down the street was stupid. the kid didn’t give a rats ass if he killed someone or not. Get as you give.
It sure it suspicious that the body camera stopped working right before the shot was fired. If it truly did malfunction those cops are very unlucky.
Police are going to need to back off of the high speed chase through neighborhoods in order to recover a stolen car. That is not to mention firing on a target that is 100 meters down a street.
Police body cams and dash cams seem to have an amazing feature called Predictive Malfunction.
They malfunction just seconds before a shooting incident.
Go apply and and see if you still feel the same after awhile.
He just rammed a cop car with a stolen car. Think about it.
Seems to me he was armed with a speeding vehicle being used as a ram, much like the terrorist in France was.
Am I supposed to be outraged by the expiring of this expiring rapper?
Does anyone have some outrage they could sell me and some money they could loan me?
“Dont run. Dont get shot”
Because running is a crime in and of itself? Oh, wait, in Coptopia it is!
“For reasons unknown, the dash cam video did not capture any video of the actual arrest, but you can hear the dialogue on the dash cams audio just fine.”
Well.
Yep. A body cam “malfunctioned” here in Houston a few weeks ago. It stopped filming RIGHT BEFORE the perp pointed his gun at the cops.
What concerns me even more is cops empting their guns not paying attention, or not caring, what’s in their line of fire. I wouldn’t be surprised one of these days if a decomposing body is found in a house where the cops were shooting at someone a month earlier. During the shooting in Houston convenience store cameras show a car driving right beside the “per” just seconds before the cops started firing in the same direction the car was going.
He was trying to run the cops down. How is it that using a car to slam into the police is considered the same as being unarmed?
Wow, in the video I just watched, I saw some thug trying to run over and kill LEO's with a stolen vehicle.......
Was that the wrong video?
In other words, cops should no longer respond to stolen vehicle reports since the first act of the perp is to escape the LEO..at high speed.
I know a number of old retired Detroit cops who fondly remember the good old days when beat downs were common and repeat offenders knew what was in store for them. I have no problem with returning to those good ol' days............
Uh huh. Surely grand theft, attempting to elude, assault on an officer, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest are crimes.kid amped it up and reaped what he sowed. Funny, I’ve made it 5 decades and never had these problems. Oh wait, that’s right. Because I’m white, right?
