Booby Trap Bras sells a sports bra with a hidden knife pouch sewn into the lining.
The founder, Jennifer Cutrona, developed the idea after a scary close call. She was jogging on a trail near her home, just outside of Austin.
"I walked around thinking life was all rainbows and butterflies until I was jumped out at on a local running trail. I was in active wear and had no form of protection on me. The little pocket knives I had collected over the years were all at home in the drawer with my pepper spray,"
...
Other Booby Trap bras come with pouches for pepper spray or a stun gun.
KTVT reports that many orders have been placed from New York where 30-year-old jogger Karina Vetrano was killed. She was dragged off a path she frequently ran and strangled.

I read a Perry Mason book if I remember correctly and one of Paul Drake’s female operatives had a bra that somehow accommodated a small pistol. It was many years ago and a very beat up book.
See,ya had to throw facts into the equasion
I said I was going to get some bear spray; but someone on
FR said that PEPPER SPRAY is actually rougher than bear
spray. - That new super strong flashlight that blinds a
bad guy (temporarily) sounds good. That and pepper spray
would be better than nothing. - I’ve got an old Smith &
Wesson revolver that my great, great grandfather carried in
his job on the river many, many years ago, and he *may*
have had to actually shoot some yahoo; but he didn’t brag
about it. I don’t want to kill nobody; but they’re making
it difficult not to have to these days.
If you don’t kill them, then in the future someone else will have to.
love their hair
In Chapel Hill in the early-ish 1990s, a female jogger was attacked by a rapist. She used her pepper spray on him and he pulled out a gun and shot her dead. When it went to trial, and I’m trying to remember exactly what happened, but it seems he was convicted of second-degree murder because she pepper sprayed him first.
I think this is the case:

First thing I thought of when I saw the story several minutes ago!
Awesome.
Jennifer CUT-rona, huh.
Timely. On the Austin evening news last night, they had a story about women joggers being attacked.
I read the 911 hijackers practiced throat cutting on dogs.
How do you cut someone with a knife if you haven’t practiced it? It seems like the first cuts would be tentative. You are going against your human nature.
Much easier to just pull a trigger.
I admit it, you got me...
Fascinating story - at least the judge gave the bastard life. And a very interesting website, too. Thanks for posting!
Perhaps gun mfg might take a cue....start mfg sport-bra guns.
Could make trying to get to second base interesting.
“I know a woman that would love to have one that would carry a .38 Hammerless Lady Smith.”
Look into Flashbang holsters. They have a pretty full lime of bra-mounted holsters for small to medium wheel guns and semiautos. Mrs. Afteguard has used them.
Knives are pretty easy to wield if you catch your target unaware. Having butchered numerous animals, I would say the ease with which a knife passes through a pig’s throat came as a bit of a shock the first time. A sharp knife makes quick work of bare flesh.
For protection, guns are still the best option—just have to have a holster large enough for the calibers. Some can carry a 22, some can hide a 357. ;)
