China claims it developed a radar that uses quantum entanglement; two particles, in this case photons, are generated and know what the other is doing instantaneously. The BS meter is going off on this one.

If they did, they wouldn’t advertise it.

Almost as much as the moon habitat with the big radar antenna.

I helped MAKE Radars that can detect stealth jets! How do you think we knew they were stealth jets?

Not impossible. Doubtful? Yes, it is a communist country.

It is estimated (somewhat tongue-in-cheek) that between China and India, they have more geniuses overseas than in the entire US.

Three minutes after China declares war on the US, how many Apples and Iphones will cease working?

Meh, why bother. Just look for the “hole in the sky.” That technology has been around a lot longer, and is easier to enhance.

Stealth jets have never been 100% stealth. And now, 25 years later, they are certainly not stealth. But they do make the radar person or missile question it. Its not a sure thing for a few seconds. And they are so fast that a split second is all that’s needed.

And remember there are lots of jamming systems that do a similar thing.

Detecting stealth is easy, it’s the targeting that’s tough.

Just more proof that America’s stealth technology scares them more than anything else.

The Australians beat stealth years ago by simply looking for the turbulence created by the stealth aircraft’s jetwash.

In 1987, I was delivering a mobile tracking radar to the Air Force.
As part of the delivery, we were supposed to demonstrate the system.
Some cocky Air Force officer thought he’d pull a fast one on us by having a stealth fighter fly the test course instead of the regular plane.
He was amazed that our mobile system tracked the stealth plane through every maneuver.
I didn’t tell him until later that we were using the backup optical tracker, because the radar wasn’t seeing anything.

They either have or soon will. Stealth isn’t invisible. It is simply too small of a return for modern computers to “see”. We are buying airframes we’ll keep for 30 years, and increased speed in processing power will make them fully visible in 5.

I think people forget one way to defeat stealth is bi-static radar, where the transmitter and receiver for the radar are in different locations. While it does work, it also require a LOT of computing power to make it work.

In reality, ALL RADAR can detect stealth planes. The problem is, the plane shows up with the cross-section of a hummingbird and thus is ignored or cannot be reliably tracked in position.

But it does see it - physics still works, reflections still exist.

Uh, how did they test it? Does China have a stealth airplane with which to test the radar? ;-)

My BS meter just pegged! LOL

If they actually did develop this radar it was probably from using stolen technology from us. I don’t know if the Chinese have came up with anything original for a few hundred years now.

Serbians did it. They locked and fired into space that WASNT showing a radar return IIRC. They did see the F117 and then lost it. Then they fired into an “anomaly” and hit it.

All radar can detect stealth jets. Seeing them is not the problem. The problem is trying to pick out what is stealth jet and what is bird or possibly bat.
