A ‘Child of the Sixties’, I’ve heard and seen a lot in all the decades since then, but... this is the first time I’ve ever even heard of ‘kratom’!

I was listening to Coast to Coast tonight and kratom was mentioned by a nutritionist. He said CBD cannabinoid oil can be used instead. It’s used for pain, epilepsy, and various other things.

Kratom is mild stuff. One beer gives a better pain killing effect. Just the nanny state overregulating to force more people to big pharma pills.

In these parts, Kratom is marketed as a cure-all on barely-legible roadside placards. The signs say things like, “Got Stress? Try Kratom!” “Tired? Kratom!”
