Fellow Freepers, I need some encouragement about the 2016 Presidential Election. I've got the same sinking feeling that I had before Obama's 2 elections. I've stated before that Trump was not my 1st choice for the Republican nomination. But he won and I wholeheartedly endorse his campaign. All major media outlets (including Fox) has actively come out against him. A 12 yr old "hot mike" slang conversation is being used to destroy him. Paul Ryan and a host of other establishment Republicans are working to elect Hillary Clinton. Even after a brave and domineering debate performance the talking heads like Rove put him almost double digit down to one of the most corrupt individuals in American History. Americans seem content to pack the Supreme Court with people who don't believe in law. They are about to elect a President who set the Mideast aflame. She believes Christians only have the right to espouse their beliefs in a Church. SisterK and Stars and Stripes have faithfully that America wakes up before we leap into this precipice of moral extinction. I've said all this to say that I need encouragement. My fellow Christians say that I should not fret because God is in control. But I still worry about the pain that is about to reign down upon our beloved America. I know Donald Trump is flawed like all of us but he really believes in fighting for the neglected people in our country. Please give me some perspective on the next 20 some days ti the election. Thank all of you Freepers for the island of freedom you have carved out.
My advice to you is to stop posting so much and listen instead for awhile. Then post some comments once you see the light. Stop trying to be the center of attention for a whole week if you can. Go Trump. Believe it and put it into the universe with your silence.
The most important polls to go by now are the states battleground polls. Trump is doing better than Romney, especially in Ohio and Iowa.
Maybe you should have your Mommy put some clean diapers on you and crawl into your playpen and suck your thumb for a while.
I’ve said this for awhile now. People point to brexit, but right now Trump is outside that margin of error. I already voted so it won’t matter much to me...but it sure is going to suck watching she devil...
Trembling about it isn’t going to do anything. Everything is in the hands of the Lord. Pray as much, and as often as you can instead of posting whining threads. There’s a lot of Chicken Little’s out there.
Get ready to be flamed.... they don’t like this kinda talk around here..... I got an earful the other day. I think we both know how important this election.... its not about Trump or Clinton....its about total deconstruction of a once very loved and blessed Nation....the MOST blessed Nation ever. That all changed in 1973.... when accepted murder of innocent unborn children, and we’ve been losing ground ever since. This is the last stand.... we lose this, its over. Thankfully I’ll only have another 30 years or so....but my kids, their kids.... they may never know the promise of what America was supposed to be.
First time in my life I can honestly say I am afraid of my government.... not because they once listened to my phone calls, or read my email ....but because we’ve turned on law enforcement.... that liberals con run amok, violate laws, and go unscathed....and others pay dearly for far less....than my christian way of life is under attack...that illegals have more rights and benefits than I do...I am sickened and sad. Can only pray we win.

That stupid tape will be gone off the headlines in a week. Still talked about sure, by the clucking heads of the media, if only to breathe life into a last ditch effort to bring him down.
I say all that to encourage you and anyone else needing such encouragement. Because there’s a real October surprise waiting in the wings for the last week of October before Nov 8 believe that.

Why not channel your fears and anxieties into direct action?
Why not take a trip to your local GOP headquarters and volunteer for door to door Trump campaigning? Or work the phones, or do sign placement.
Get a grip and get to work.

Everybody on Free Republic is supporting Trump and is going to vote for Trump. It's the people who aren't here that I worry about.
Find out the first day of early voting in your area. Mine is tomorrow and I will be at their doorstep first thing. For me not because I am discouraged, but I want to get my vote locked in before the Nov 8 shenanigans start from the clintoon machine. So get out there, just vote the first day of early voting and poof, no more discouragement and you locked your vote in.

True...do not fall for the crap the media tells you! Like just now, Brit Hume pretty much insinuated as did his guests that Trump is way behind in the polls, Clinton is ahead now in OH...Trump is doomed now.

Best advice someone gave you is stop watching TV.
Whatever is going to happen in November, there is only one thing you can do, vote.
Your taking that action is not dependent on television watching, so just shut them out. They aren’t doing anything positive for you or America at all.
They are trying every way possible to demoralize you and everyone else, but if you shut down their avenues of communication, they cannot reach you thus they are rendered powerless.
The narrative works via mass mind control and suggestion. Mind control and suggestion work via human socialization behaviors, including television. Shut it down, it’s poison.
You sure picked an odd day to be down. Trump killed it.
