You guys think that Comey got a wind of Assange's releases for next week, and had to pre-empt it to avoid getting the FBI into trouble? I think I heard that theory on Hannity's radio today.
Interesting hypothesis. I have given up speculating what will happen next in this election...one guess is as good as another.
Either that, or the FBI agents themselves were ready to revolt. At least one would hope so. Up until now, the individual FBI agents have leaked to selected press that they were “outraged”, but did absolutely nothing. Gotta have that paycheck, you know.
If Comey wasn’t forced to make this announcement, then I am at a loss as to why because I don’t immediately see how this helps Hillary.
I am thinking so. I am guessing that this is a nice “plausible” distraction, which will turn out to be a “oops, we thought we had something ... but it didn’t pan out”.
She is scared of wikileaks - and we already know Comey will cover for her no matter what. So ...
They are saying hundreds of classified documents on Carlos Danger’s computers.
I absolutely think they know what is coming from the Assange, the great hero of freedom. . I think they knew it all along! But the release is coming and they are trying to cover their corrupt asses.
I’m guessing but it seems like Comey got tipped off to something. Maybe that something was not about Clinton but about him and he wanted to take others down with him?

What I meant is, I don’t think Comey really has anything solid with the email thing. I think it may be a squirrel.
I think wikileaks does have very damning evidence - but I suspect it is more to do with the foundation. AND as the foundation scandal was beginning to hurt Hillary, they are using this FBI thing as a BIG distraction. I don’t think this Comey move is due to the pending Wilileaks info for anything connected to the emails, but rather to save the Clintons from the foundation nightmare that has only just begun.
I hope something is released that the general, terribly dumbed down public can relate to as heinous, not just us aware, political types.
My guess:
Previously, in the main email investigation, agents were stymied because they could not get subpoenas to Hillary’s, Huma’s, or Sheryl Mill’s devices or accounts. There was no grand jury they could go to—DOJ made sure of that. It was a farce.
However, the FBI agents investigating Weiner for child sex abuse most likely got their grand jury, with the DOJ permission. One simple step these agents probably took was asking said grand jury for a search warrant subpoena for both Weiner’s personal email accounts. As in, Huma’s yahoo.com emails. Yahoo has already been shown to cooperate fully. In a few days, they got all of them. In her emails, some were from Hillary, with “Classified” headers.
Once they had the evidence in hand, Comey had no choice. They would have been leaked and he would have been lynched otherwise.

That’s my thinking... The rank and file FBI agents did not like seeing their reputation being tarnished by Comey playing politics with the White House and the Attorney General, and read him the ‘Riot Act” if he didn’t support them...
I think when Comey found out that the Weiner investigators stumbled on this, he decided to immediately re-open the investigation for three reasons:
1. Placate internal FBI dissension about the corrupt Hillary investigation
2. Protect the emails from disclosure to Congress or Judicial Watch by being able to say they are “the subject of a criminal investigation, sorry we can’t show them to you”
3. Get the DOJ attorneys involved in this matter. The DOJ attorneys are basically acting as Hillary’s defense lawyers and they will get in there and threaten the FBI agents not to leak them to the press or the DOJ will put them in prison.
At this point, the best face Hillary, Lynch and Comey can put on this is Hillary saying “unless they give more info about it, this is a cheap shot by the Republican Comey against me” and Lynch and Comey playing along by saying the investigation is ongoing, will take months and they can’t talk about it.
Since I was expecting the 33,000 deleted emails to come out about now, my suspicion is that Comey has set a backfire to rob the bigger scandal of potential fuel. “Never mind that raging inferno over there. Just look at this nice little flame right here!” If we fall for it, the Clintons once again will cry that “It’s all about sex, just like when they persecuted Bill.”

But the stooges will still vote for Hitlery! My aunt, whom I love dearly, said she already voted for Clinton because Trump a bigot & he’s mean to women..he doesn’t want women to vote or work.
Those were her exact words so there are those who will vote for Clinton no matter what because Trump a big meanie.
Now all eyes will be upon every newsbreak where they would have ignored Assange and O’Keefe if not for this. Hillary is going to need a serious sedative to calm down tonight.
