I would have chambered a round and make sure he saw it. I'm old and don't care!

I carry in my door panel for just this sort of thing. If the guy should try to escalate, the gun will come out. I have to be legally justified, however.
My .380 LCP is always chambered and in my pocket holster and 2 extra mags in my other pocket. Does you no good in the car. You may not ever need it, but if you need it, you REALLY need it. Ladies, don’t keep it in your purse. First thing they take.
I was in Spokane WA last week, sitting in the car half snoozing and waiting for my wife to pick up a prescription. Suddenly a hand slamming against my window shocked me off my seat.
It was a large black guy trying to pull open my door yelling, "Do you want to call me a nigger today?"
I live in Idaho, recently moved from Washington where I do hold a CCW. Because we left home early and in a bit of a rush I didn't carry that day.
I got out of the car, confronted the guy and diffused the situation peacefully with several people standing around around watching. But, I won't be traveling unstrapped to urban areas anymore.
In a bit of irony, we had relatives visit recently from South Carolina. They were traveling the country in their motorcoach looking for a new place to live because they feel the new and openly aggressive attitude they have felt coming from blacks since Obama's reign has made then very uncomfortable there. They both carry and do not go anywhere alone.
Wrong.
#1 Never carry a weapon unless it is ready to shoot. Clambering a round takes two hands. Not a good move.
#2: Never display a weapon unless you are ready to kill that person with it. Never consider using your weapon unless it is to save the life or prevent serious bodily harm to yourself or someone you know. Other exceptions are Castle Doctrine situations.
There is no death penalty for being a dumb racist. Drive away, kick back, turn on the radio, and enjoy life.
I’m with you.
