During that time I had plans to do some chores around the house, catch up on FR and watch the most recent seasons of House of Cards and the Walking Dead on Netflix.
Instead, I've spent the past three days on YOU TUBE watching the 11/8/2016 election coverage as originally aired on ABC, CNN, FOX and NBC.
John King brings up the election map, telling Blitzer how dire a situation it is for Clinton, and, when CA is called for Clinton, Blitzer gets so excited as Clinton takes a lead in the electoral college, as if everything King told him earlier had never been said.
Martha Raditz breaking down in near tears.
Shots of the excited crowd early on at the Javits Center where the beast was supposed to be coronated, which slowly turned to tearful and the despondent correspondents (Andrea Mitchell, Brianna Keeler........) reporting on it
Van Jones trippin'.
I need another fix.
I hear there is a video of The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur from that night that will give me a huge rush................
.......and I still have the screwballs at MSNBC withWilliams, Matthews and that guy Maddow to watch.
Maybe I'll put in for another week off.
God help me too. I’m in the same boat. I need rehab. I’m becoming an unproductive member of society.
I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about...
the piece de resistance of election night 2016 was, of course, the faces on camera of PBS election night coverage.

I now absolutely love the song “In the Hall of the Mountain King.” I bet you know why.
Love Ya Man!!!
I am almost through reading the 10k+ post election night FR thread. It doesn’t get old. So many good posts but the one I loved the most was an image of the Drudge Report sometime between 11 and midnight eastern time with the headline Trump on the verge of the Presidency World is Shocked!!!! It encapsulated the whole night.
John King all but grabbed Blitz by the neck and shook him. “THERE ARENT ENOUGH AREAS LEFT FOR HER TO GET THOSE VOTES, WOLF!!!!” Best election moment in my lifetime.
You don’t need much.
Schadenfreude is served best with hot sauce.
Enjoy!
Hello,
My name is Def, and I am an addict.
I’ve watched the The Young Turks video 3 times, and I enjoyed it each time. I laugh like someone mentally ill.
I’ve watched the entire ABC coverage, albeit only once. The 7th minute of the 1am coverage on ABC had the most appeal for me. It’s when Martha Raddatz marvels that all their maneuvering nowithstanding, the voters went out and rebuffed the efforts of the press to keep them from exercising their franchise.

I fear that my hunger for the coverage is ongoing. I now want to see the CNN coverage based on your comment about John King.
I need help.
My all-time favorite is the 26-minute Young Turks meltdown (Language warning).
Since election day, almost every day I search for “Clinton Snowflakes”, “Election Meltdown”, etc. while doing my booze walks with my old time radio podcasts, or on the train to and from work, and I think I’ve come close to exhausting all the gems out there. I keep opening up YouTube hoping to find more.
It’s a real charm and deeply satisfying to watch those videos with a giant grin on my face and enjoy all of the butt hurt that the pansies are going through.
It’s over. Trump won.
Take up ping pong or jigsaw puzzles.
lol. You perv. ;)
You’re not alone. Some of my friends and coworkers are still texting me links to those videos. As long as you get a smile out of that stuff, just roll with it and enjoy it. We certainly earned it over the last eight years.
Thanks for the post. I was starting to worry I was alone with this affliction.
I have watched at least 30 or 40 hours of video from election night and the days immediately afterward: ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS, FOX NEWS, Young Turks, Louder with Crowder, Ben Shapiro, etc.
I can’t get enough!
