I was a member of the Tea Party back when Obama first got elected. A lot of meet ups were organized through meet up.org. I haven't been involved in anything in a long time, but I still get emails occasionally. I just received this in my inbox. Not ONCE, during the Tea Party heyday, did I receive any mass emails in support of the Tea Party. But they themselves created all these #resist meet ups. Unbelievable. I am unsubscribing and sending a note as to why.

These meetups will not all be about peaceful opposition. The FBI should send in a few infiltrators and see where these meeting lead.
My experience with Meetups is that a lot of people join the group but never participate in the events. And some groups exist add members and never meet.

What meetups I’ve been to have fizzled out after a few months.
I got the same email from Meetup.com .... primarily, because I have long been a member [dining out mostly].
This is the first one I’ve gotten as a mass mailing. The go to lengths to note that both Libs and Cons are welcome but their sponsors are Planned Parenthood, ACLU etceteraNOT ONE Conservative org.

They don’t even know what they are resisting.
Stopping corporate lobbying to the gov entities.....and it will end.
