Trump kept BSing masterfully. Kept the press off balance. Gave no info to harm himself or America. Spoke to America. Safety. Security. Deals. Taxes. Obamacare. Vetting. Immigration. His soft heart. Who I am. Who the press is.Funny and amazing. Scored bigly. Do not under estimate his competence! Get behind him. Remind him that America will not stand for him to play footsies with the Swampers of America or the world.
His chances were less than 5 percent to win... he was projected to pull around 321 elec coll votes max. Upsetting Hillary who uncorked the Champain at 4 PM was Yuge - biggest upset in history - the 306 is not the key but rather 306 is the twisted version from the media.

When he mocked them for making the story about wikieleaks and not the fact the CNN gave her the debate questions ahead of time and then went so far as to say don’t you think she should have come out and said this is wrong and unethical to get these questions in advance!! But she didn’t!! THAT WAS FREAKING EPIC!!
Yeah, I just watched the presser and agree. He’ll be cast as petty for paying attention to their ratings like baseball statistics but I like his insider perspective. The fact that he’s a showbiz guy is really powerful. First president we’ve had that truly gets the media from the inside.
The amount of realism that comes out of Trump is incredible. He is reality spoken out loud in a way that I’ve never heard before from a politician.

I know there have been many occasions when something happened, like Obama or Nancy Pelosi made some incredibly provocative, untrue statement that I found dismaying, where I felt my heart sinking at the nastiness of it, and I thought to myself "how can we possibly respond to this," and I would come on FR and find a thread on it, and immediately — in the first five or six posts — find more than one brilliant, devastating responses, ordered one after another, sometimes responding from quite different angles but all right on target.
If a Republican wants a rapid response to some left-wing-nut crazy accusation, he or she could do worse than to come here for ideas.
And I suspect some do.
I thought exactly the same thing....our President is a lurker here! How just so awesome. It would be fun to know.
Seems to me Pres Trump set them up, kicked ass, and they still don’t know it. Since they haven’t covered his accomplishments, but have only attacked trying to make a scandal out “Russia”, he started off with his administration’s accomplishments over the last few weeks. He then took on the arrogant “MSM” media by calling on and answering their “gotcha” questions while calling them out on their intellectual dishonesty. They don’t know how to handle him since most politicians run in fear of the media. But, they didn’t make him and so far, despite their best efforts, through outright lies, they haven’t been able to destroy him. They will keep trying though. What I loved was that the media over the last few days has been trying to foster the idea that Trump was hiding from them. Today, he showed them he isn’t afraid of them, put them in their place, and they don’t know how to handle it. The MSM is so outclassed by Trump, and their arrogance keeps them from knowing it.
He dispensed information & then crushed the press.
this was not a press conference - it was The Trump Show and it was better than anything on prime time.

Having been a student at Indiana University during Bob Knight’s heyday, it is like watching Bob Knight circa 1987 as President of the United States.
I can see why Knight supported Trump.

These asshats are not used to attending a Presidential News Conference that has real content instead of alot of words that run out the clock and mean nothing.
I listened to most of it and I liked his honest answers to good questions. I loved it cuz he spoke to most of the self appointed bearers of news (lies and more lies) as if they were poorly performing 2nd graders...now johnnie if you tell the truth your ratings will go up...very refreshing compared to the obama obfuscations or the equivocating clinton text parsing and the gwb careful tenous phrasing...not to mention all of the accomplishments and goals...i say more action...less pressers and leave the opposition behind..
