Any other descriptive qualities?
Amazing how any of that doesn’t seem to be in the news after Trump won the election twice.
This is what the war on Christianity since the 1960s has wrought. That, together with the ever-expanding welfare state and the constant drumbeat of "Racism!"
I had an old Ford Granada that had a 3 on the tree. Not nearly as fun as on the floor, but you could still bang it. 8>)
My friend calls a manual transmission a “Millennial Theft Protection Device”.
Some of our younger relatives in their late 30-40’s who learned how to drive a basic pickup with a standard transmission have a joke about this.
They can hire out to Millennial Car Jackers as guys with special skills, aka ability to drive a stick shift.
In many of the Californicator cities, only about 50 of the Millennials have driver’s licenses and those without a DL, don’t want one.
They use Uber if they can’t hitch a ride. A large % of those are interested in driverless vehicles.
Those, who sell cars/trucks in America are probably supporting the driverless vehicle maddness for their survival to have vehicle buyers.
Who were shiftless...
Cursive is another old-time problem.
lol

“I had an old Ford Granada”
At the time people made fun of them but compared to today’s cars a two door first generation Granada looks pretty good.
I got an automatic specifically for 4x4ing in my k2500. It’s always in the correct gear. Stopping on steep grades is a breeze. I love a stick on the street but I’ll never go back to one off road.
They are more efficient than manuals now.
Unfortunately they were in English. The perps only understand ebonics.
My son is 26. His car was totaled in January. He refused to even look at anything with an automatic transmission. But then again, he is not a millenial, strictly speaking.
Duster 225 cubic inch Slant Six with 3 on the tree. Or a 318 or a 340. I love dusters. Had a couple. Love the Plymouth/Dodge thing from the early sixties through the late seventies. My boys still have 2 Aspens and a Volare.
LOL! But how can I goof around double-clutching with an automatic. I'm too old to just take that away!
You can’t do the Milwaukee alley creep with an auto! I like to select the gear I wanna be in!
No.. they do..
They just don’t want to pay for the car or the expense of owning it. Someone else should do that for them ya know.
I actually liked it. Got it brand new. It was the first shift on the column I had ever had. all the rest before were on the floor.
