“Are they coming after the Fox Business channel too? I like that channel better than regular Fox.”

During the election it became blatantly obvious FBN was assuming the “conservative” posture that FNC had long held. Since a Hillary victory was all but guaranteed, FNC wanted to become CNN. Whoopsie.

Now FBN ratings have been on the way up, and FNC dumping their number one show -WTH are they thinking- will be CNN with better looking women. Although that will probably be the next thing to go.

Really ..????

If they’re that stupid .. then they’ll just love the horrible new ratings .. proving that America watched because the programming was mostly about GOOD AMERICAN VALUES .. and not the propaganda against President Trump.

But, since the Murdoch brothers are vapid liberals, I don’t think they will expect to see the landslide of people changing channels after they get through pruning out any of the even slightly conservative flock members.

But, maybe it’s time for a REAL CONSERVATIVE NETWORK - and I’m not even thinking “Beck” ..!!!! He’s already out in lala land somewhere .. won’t listen to him.

Without Fox News, we probably would not be here today, as a nation. I truly believe that. Without Fox News, I don’t know if we would have weathered the storm of the economic crash, if we would have weathered the storm of — of 9/11. After that, when it started all going crazy and everybody was talking about how, you know — how bad George Bush was in, and Michael Moore was alleging that George Bush was part of the conspiracy. Without a balance to that, I don’t know if we would have been — be here today. And certainly, we wouldn’t be here on talk radio because talk radio would have been the only target. It would have been the last — the last beachhead. And we would have been gone. They would have put us out, but they were busy trying to put out Fox News.

He makes a strong case here.

O’Reilly will have no problem finding a new job.

He will move further to the political Left and start attacking ALL Conservatives.

And, once he becomes a certified Liberal, women, and the MSM, will ignore his alleged history of sexual harassment.

For me, the "beginning of the end of Fox News as we knew it" was after they sucker-punched the Republican primary candidates during the first debate in 2015. I stopped watching the Fox News Channel after that.

Maybe you should. He’s got a good conservative thing going. And he hits issues that most talk show hosts won’t.

The only thing I watch on Fox News is Fox & Friends at 3:45 AM to 4:30AM. Thats about the only time they actually are conservative and don’t put on the left wing screaming nut jobs.

I don’t get Fox Business News with my current cable package.

Is Gary B. Smith - “The Chart Man” - still on?

He did “Bulls and Bears” for years, which I still watch occasionally, but I never see him anymore.

O’Reilly is no conservative. His leaving has nothing to do with him being a conservative. It has everything to do with him being a serial sexual predator and a dirty old man, not to mention an arrogant jerk.
As for Hannity, last time I looked he has always loved his wife, is a gentleman and has never had as much as a whiff of a sexual scandal against him. And unlike O’Reilly, Hannity IS a conservative, and has been for long, long time.

O’Reilly is no conservative, but he’s not a liberal either — and that is his offense. (I would describe him as a middle-of-the-road populist.)

I don’t know whether the allegations against him are true or not, and neither do you. But we now live in an era in which mere allegations are sufficient to destroy a person’s career. That should disturb us all.

And it’s not about whether O’Reilly is a conservative. Fox has done a lot to bust teh liberal information monopoly, so it must be destroyed.

Sean and Tucker are the next targets, and the left won’t stop until their lives — not just their careers — are destroyed.

The problem for Fox is that if they go left, how do they differentiate their leftist trash from the leftist trash on CNN and MSNBC? Also, is there room for one more leftist network in the cable news space?

Murdoch’s sons don’t care. They just hate the channel and want to make it “norml.”

If I may ask, what international sources.

It varies quite a bit. I’ll read about a story on one source and then dogpile it to see what others have to say.

To be clear, though, I rarely get “really” in depth on a story because I simply haven’t the time - unless it affects me and I can actually do something about it.

Do you remember a lady called Andrea Mackris from back in 2004?
It was on Freerepublic.

Bill O’Reilly is guilty alright. And he's been sexually harassing women, who work for him, for decades.

Settling a case does not mean that you’re guilty.

Why would you pay someone to the tune of $12 million when you haven't done anything?
I followed that case. Good ole Bill used to call the lady while she was at home and tell her to play with herself and tried to engagedl her in all kinds of dirty talk. She actually recorded everything. That's the only reason why Bill O’Reilly paid. You may want to look at the details of the lawsuit filed by her lawyer. It's all there. Bill O’Reilly is a dirty old man.

Because the lawyers and PR people exert pressure. It’s cheaper than fighting it.
