I remember Tom Bosley saying that Chuck got a basketball scholarship to the University of Outer Mongolia.

And stayed to earn that PhD.

My sister died a month ago after suffering from pancreatic cancer. She was 87. She passed away just 2 months after diagnosis was confirmed. It is a very bad cancer, I would not wish it on my worst enemy.

Not many cancer patients look younger than their chronological age. I am praying it will be a quick heart attack instead of long drawn out cancer causing my demise. May be I need to eat lot more steaks and prime ribs and stop exercising lol.

Notice the careful hedging in the autopsy's supposedly conclusive wording..."there were no illegal narcotics found in Moran's home".

This raises the questions of..... were there any LEGAL prescription narcotics found in the home...and, more importantly, were there any narcotics of ANY kind, legal or illegal, found in her BODY.

Will further tests be done?....something doesn't smell right here due to the weasel wording of the verdict. Sounds to me like it may be an OD , accidental or purposeful due to the cancer.

At that age she had an Andrienne Barbeau look about her — at least her face. ;)

“the episode featuring Lenny and Squiggy”

And now “Lenny” is on Better Call Saul. A bad dude, too.

If she had stage 4, she likely had some opioids in her system. Any other situation is not to be imagined. God bless and RIP miss Moran. IIRC her illegal drug problems were in the distant past. I hope she died with real friends in her life.

You are correct. He got his PhD. in Transcendental Meditation, had an out of body experience one night, and couldn’t get back in. They filmed an episode about it, but the cast was so broken up, the producers decided not to air it. (:-D

I heard that on my local news here in the Louisville area just a little while ago. I am surprised, too. New Salisbury, Indiana - where she had been living and where her body was found, is 15 minutes from my house. I know where that trailer park is. Sad.

Also very non informative. What type of cancer? At stage 4 she would likely have had pain meds of the strong type. One can OD on prescribed pills too. Plus the story relates her drunkenness

Wait for the tox screen to come back

Makes me wonder if there was schizophrenia or similar mental illness that went undiagnosed.

My father just found out he has a 4.1cm mass in his pancreas last wednesday. While we don’t know for sure yet, I am pretty sure it is malignant. I am just in shock.

Whatever happened to Chuck on Happy Days?? Originally the Cunninghams had three children. Then Chuck disappeared with no explanation.

He ran off with Tiger, the Brady's dog.
