I often encounter “pro-marriage” people while gathering stories for the blog. These pro-marriage people come in two varieties.
On the one end of the spectrum are people like Terrell Clemmons and Jennifer Roback Morse, who understand marriage, but who also understand the social changes that have made marriage unattractive for men. Both Clemmons and Morse have a background in STEM fields, so they are able to understand incentives and tradeoffs. They understand that society has to rollback the changes to education, divorce laws, etc. if they expect men to be interested in marriage again. They understand that men are not just accessories of women, but instead have their own desires, feelings and reasons for marrying.
On the other end of the spectrum are feminist men, who are not able to understand the changing incentives that face men in a world that has evolved under the influence of radical feminism. It is just simpler (less thinking) for these men to accept the radical feminism as a given, and then urge men to “man up”. I think a much better idea would be for the “man up” crowd to realize how marriage has changed, and how the schools and the workplace have changed, then make all of these things more attractive to men. It doesn’t do any good to try to “dare” men into jumping off a cliff. Men aren’t stupid, and they do what is in their own best interests. If the man-up crowd wants younger men to marry, then they need to change the incentives offered to men. And that means changing women first.

Then I can only observe that you obviously have never had to stand there when a male friend of yours is trying so hard and failing not to cry because his ex- is taking the children out of state and he will never be able to see them again.

I run a tight ship so my overworked husband can come home to a clean, peace-filled house and enjoy his adoring children. I love my part in making life better for him, his clients, and our children. The only people who have ever tried to shame me for my choices or make me feel inadequate were feminists.
I think feminism should be about showcasing the strengths of women, but it has always seemed to me that feminism was about being men and replacing men. sigh
How does one make the leap from having a STEM background to the ability “ to understand incentives and tradeoffs.”? Wouldn’t a business and/or economics background be more appropriate?

Show me a present-day Christian preacher who openly rejects feminism and declares that wives should submit to their husbands, and that a wife who divorces her husband other than for grave reasons is a sinner who should be shunned by fellow Christians.
And I'll show you a preacher with no women attending.
Modern day preachers understand that it is the wives who decide what church the family will attend, and tithe to.

China will be fine. As always, the wealthy will get the prettiest women, the rest with well-paying jobs will get the rest. The male poor will be the ones without women, and they will either be exported to defend China's investments in Africa (and in the process take African women) or the troublesome Muslim population in China's west will have their men exterminated and their women redistributed.
From what I hear from men who have married foreign brides, the most foolproof method may be to go live abroad. Never bring her to the US, always retain the option of leaving, and make sure that she realizes that if she changes into a raging feminist that you WILL leave her.
Women want a high-status man.
What defines a high status man? Being a man who is wanted by multiple women, and where each woman is aware that he's seeing other women, and accepts that as the price of him giving her at least part of his time. Where the woman feels a sense of insecurity, and knows she has competition that she will need to beat in order to ultimately get commitment.
I am an American Single Woman. I was raised by a single Father. Nearly everyone can understand the pain of heartbreak from failed relationships and acknowledge the uncertainties of life. Most everyone is aware of the farce we call our judicial system and what a horrible joke and assault on families and ladies feminism is. The hate and insults on all American ladies due to individual experiences in some of these posts are unjust enough to run some folks off. Please be aware there are a great deal of very good women - even good single ladies, in America and especially on FR. I know it is hard for men and women both to meet good people. But just like the ‘silent majority’ who elected our Great President, the good ones, especially women, aren’t normally noticed. Why? Because everything is judged by looks alone. Even on here, people post pictures of women and then say ‘guilty’ or ‘not guilty’ by their looks alone. Of course, you can tell a lot by some pictures. But only so much. Thank you for your consideration of this info. And please remember - ALL American ladies are not all those women you see screaming in the streets. There are many good ones out here. Hint - Most don’t look like models or hanging out in popular meet up places. And do really appreciate a kind man.
