The Washington Post is reporting that the CIA informed Obama in August 2016 that Putin was directly involved in a cyberop to tilt the U.S. presidential election.

In this case, I’d start using the term ‘fake-intelligence’, where some KGB guys know that there is some CIA-insider and they feed misleading information to make them think and report something.
Go and ask the CIA to produce the ‘spy’ who sent this report up, and how he/she heard about it. My bet is that they attended some London party and overheard some KGB guy telling some guest the story.
